The Sixth Street Bridge is a four-span, wrought iron bridge that crosses the Grand River in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is a Michigan State Historic Site and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1886, it is the longest and oldest metal truss bridge in Michigan.

I've loved this bridge since I was a kid. Fun to cross in a car, bike, or on foot. It has nice, protected sidewalks. There's something about how it is so narrow that makes it just enough of an adventure. It's fun to see the river from the bridge, and it's a great connector for 6th St Park and The...

Note to my skateboarders, when going on this bridges the sidewalk is made of wood. If you want to risk it for the biscuit and take the road... beware of the large divot at the start and end. I can jump it but if you’re not able...
