Tandy Leather Grand Rapids - 18 — Local services in Grand Rapids

I own a small leather shop near Cadillac Michigan , roughly two hours North of the store . I've made numerous trips down there as well as called and ordered and had material shipped to my shop at least 30 times .I've probably ran close to $10,000 through the store most of the time it's went off with out a hitch but a couple of times the employees have dropped the ball and not shipped out the order for as much as two days , I can no longer do business that way at the end of the day time is money it has become obvious to me that the grand rapids store doesn't care if they waste my time or if I spend my money there or elsewhere . I'll give you 2 stars because I've had several good experiences but the bad experiences are forcing me to look at...

Great staff, and the manager is well informed and knows the product well. They bend over backwards to help you find the products you need and will help you to think long term for projects. The prices are fair, but the customer service is unparalleled. Sure, you can find some of the products online for a little cheaper, but with that you sell your option to go in and see/touch/feel the leather, as well as lose the opportunity to ASK questions you may have. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a new hobby or to the casual shopper in need of a good belt. Caleb (might be spelling this wrong) was SUCH an amazing help today! My husband and I are very new in leather crafting and he was thorough in his explanations, made great recommendations and helped putting us at ease with our purchases. We could tell that he really had a passion for this craft/business and wanted people to be completely satisfied with their purchases/projects.
