Palermo Pizza — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

I order consistantly from them and it is always hit or miss. I usually put up with it because I love the taste of their pie. Well, on my last week's order, the pizza came completely destroyed (all topping flew off to one side of box), literally destroyed, $25 wasted. I called, the owner said he will hook me up next time. I just called today for a new order, the guy on the phone must be new or something, he had no idea about the sizes, specials,, nothing. I ordered and caught himovercharging me, I had to have him read back the order 3 times, each time fixing a mistake he made. I also mentioned about my last order's mistake. He spoke with the owner and offered me $5 off. That was for a $25 pizza that was destroyed. Not what I was expecting, but I still continued with the order. The last straw was when the guy put me on hold making me wait even longer while he tried to figure out how to ring me up. Suffice it to say, I am done with this place. It's just not worth the trouble...

INSANE wait time, I called at 11:07 and was told 40 mins, when I got in they couldn’t find the order by name OR number because they didn’t bother to get that information over the phone. I get there at 11:50, food is not done OR started . Took them approximately 7 mins to locate my order and give me a 10 min wait at that time. I finally left at 12:10 with my 24 inch pizza no apology of the wait or delay and no offer or willingness to fix the problem at hand which was the huge wait after I called 7 mins after they opened for the day or the fact that they didn’t get a name or number for the order or that there was a hour total wait on a pizza that took 10 mins to go through the oven. I don’t recommend this location and won’t use it for my works employee...

Food here is usually amazing if they get it right. I won't be ordering from this location anymore, because the past three orders have all been wrong or had something missing. You will have a better success rate if you just stick with pizza. The subs here are good, but I've only had a couple that turned out as I ordered. This place considers mayo the 'salad dressing' and unless you specify otherwise, your sub will be slathered in mayo like a casserole. The website is an absolute joke, avoid it completely! I want to support small businesses like this especially during this time, but there needs to be a step up in quality and service here. If you order,...
