I have never left a negative review like this but this experience was beyond frustrating. The customer service was incredibly unhelpful — staff were dismissive, uninterested in resolving the issue, and even rude when I asked reasonable questions about their exchange policy.
The exchange policy was never conveyed to me at the time of sale, it was simply stamped on the receipt and completely customer-unfriendly. They refused a simple return/exchange or even a gift card (only was allowed to exchange for same item different size) though the item was unused and I had proof of purchase.
No flexibility, no empathy, no accountability for the lack of communication regarding this incredibly strict policy. It was not busy, maybe four people browsing with two girls working. They were incapable of the 4 easiest parts of retail customer service: I was not greeted when I walked in I was not asked if I needed help with anything when I was browsing I had to get the girl's attention to ask for a dressing room I was not told to "Have a nice night" when I left Granted I do not look like every other preppy blonde woman in EGR, there is no excuse. I had been to every store I could think of and Breton Village was my last hope (and it was just a coincidence I drove by there because I forgot they existed). I had literally been in tears serval times that day looking for a dress to go to a wedding and had given up. We walked in and Amy was immediately there to help me. She listened to me and had me trying on things I would have never picked out for myself and they worked!!! She made boyfriend and I comfortable and the process easy. I bought two things with the intention of returning the one I decided not to wear and am now keeping both because I love them so much.
