Edit (response to comment): Sorry, but I'm not buying that. When I went back to talk to the sales associate she said she was on the phone with her boss, not a manufacturing warehouse. Is she employed by a manufacturing warehouse or the store owner? That makes no sense. Additionally, she coincidentally needed to be at the area with the crosses at the same time we were? She needed to be right next to my shoulder to look at the crosses immediately next to me? I'm not buying that either. She was moving the crosses around like she was pretending not to be suspicious. The peg with those crosses was full and she moved them around like she was trying to make them look full but they already looked full. She was trying to act like she wasn't watching us. Not only that, but my husband and I were having a conversation about which cross to buy, and the employee stood RIGHT NEXT TO US and spoke very loudly on the phone which interrupted our ability to discuss which cross we wanted to buy. I won't let you gaslight us into thinking we didn't see what we saw. It was an uncomfortable experience, and I felt like someone thought I was going to steal from that store. You may say that associate is kind but I do not think being rudely loud on the phone immediately next to me is a kind action. She could have stayed at the register if she was going to do that but she wanted to make sure we wouldn't steal. Don't worry. I found another store to buy a cross for my mom and I'll make to let everyone I know not to visit your store.
My husband and I were weirdly profiled in this store.
We stopped by the store because we saw they had wooden crosses. I had planned to buy a wooden cross for my mom, so this would have been a perfect place for me to shop at. As my husband and I were looking at the crosses, my husband was asking me which of two crosses would my mom like better. I was about to explain to him that I liked one of the crosses and that was when the saleslady came over and started fussing with crosses on hooks that didn't need to be fixed while also talking loudly on the phone right next to me. She was basically shoulder to shoulder with me. In a whole store, she had to be right there right then?
Out of all of the places to fix in the store, she chose that place to fix up and talk loud near us? She had no regard for our shopping experience and it seemed like she thought we could have stolen something. She was clearly trying to keep an eye on us even though we were the only people in that store at the time. When we came into the store she was sitting at the register talking on the phone but for some reason she thought it was necessary to fix the crosses right next to me even though they looked perfectly set already? Yeah, okay.
The funny thing is, I was TRULY planning to buy a cross that day but the rudeness of that interaction made certain I would not buy anything from there. I had hoped to ask her a question about the crosses so I could decide which one to buy, but bope. That store was...
Read moreI had an amazing experience shopping at the Bethlehem Store! They offer a wonderful selection of high-quality items, all blessed in the Holy Land, making them perfect gifts for any Catholic or Christian family and friends. Each product feels so special and meaningful, and the craftsmanship is truly remarkable.
The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the uniqueness and spiritual significance of the items. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain the products.
If you're looking for meaningful, faith-filled gifts that carry a piece of the Holy Land's sacredness, this is the place to go. I keep on coming back to this store. Highly...
Read moreMe and my husband were browsing through the Grapevine Mills Mall when a beautiful hand carved wood last supper caught our eye @ Bethlehem Star! We spoke with the owner for awhile getting to know the background of his products and how they are made. We enjoyed our visit and time spent here with the owner. We just bought a new home and can not wait to go back to buy what caught our eye so others can be wowed like we were! Thank Tou for what you do...
