Wow! The kids have summer vacation so to keep them occupied we plan three events each day pulled from a hat so we try new experiences and today one of the activities was chocolate tasting . We just got incredibly lucky... We were going to go to one chocolate shop and just get a bunch of chocolate and try them but it was closed. So we found dr. Sue's which we've been wanting to try. and when we went in there were two ladies behind the counter and we told them what we were doing and how it came about that we got to them and it turns out they are two prior teachers and loved the idea of our self made camp and gave us an educational chocolate tasting. We tried 15 different Belgian chocolates of all various flavors and we Even got a tour of the shop and we got to learn about and see chocolate from being in the pod to making it to a candy bar. Needless to say, every chocolate was absolutely incredible, but I really want to thank both of the ladies that gave us an incredible experience. You have gained lifelong customers not only because the chocolate was ridiculously good, but because you cared enough to give us a day to remember. I cannot recommend this shop enough. They also have a rewards program that is really good and to be honest the prices for the quality that you get is actually incredible.

Dr. Sue's Chocolate - (Grapevine) Located in downtown, this cute little shop offers handmade, organic Dark, Milk and white chocolate. Everything made in house. I stopped by here few times with family and tried great samples before purchasing a few varieties. If you need to purchase something and you want to come back later to pick it up, they offer, “Babysitting” area for your sweet and precious chocolates. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are able to assist with any questions you may have. I would certainly recommend this place if you’re looking for organic sweet treats without chemicals.

Took the new TexRail from Ft Worth to Grapevine for lunch. After a very disappointing Tex Mex lunch at Esparza's, we had time to kill before the train back. I'm so glad we stumbled upon Dr Sue's! This is some of the best quality chocolate I've ever tasted. We ended up buying the Cherry Pecan and the Smores bark. Both are so delicious! My favorite is the Texas Mendiant. Salted chocolate with pecans and a candied jalapeno. It gave it a bit of a kick, but paired so well with the sweet and salty flavors. I can't wait to go back and try more!

We went today to get hot chocolate. When we entered the employees at the counter screamed that they were not taking more orders because they were closing soon. If the door is open, you’re supposed to serve customers. It was a super cold night and we wanted something hot for us and the kids. Is that a way to treat customers? We felt very embarrassed at the way the treated us in front of everybody.

If you want to be treated better, go to Main St bakery, at least they treat you better. To the owner of the place, if you want to keep your business, show your employees to treat your customers better. We were like 10 people, and we all agreed that we are not going to go to that place ever. 0 starts. We don't even...

I tried Dr. Sue's chocolate as part of a sampler at a wine bar down the street, and had to go to the store to buy more. It's so good. My favorites two are cherry pecan and ginger fig. I also purchased the hatch green Chile citrus, which is good if you want to get adventurous. Just a spicy kick at the end. Then the coffee flavored one, that I can't recall the exact name of right now. I sampled many more, and everything was good. You can't go wrong! Awesome for pairing with wine, great gift, and perfect for putting out at parties. The lady working the store when i came in was very sweet and helpful. I'll be...
