Hip Pop — Restaurant in Grapevine

A few friends and I were exploring Grapevine, and wanted something cold to combat the heat. We decided to try out HipPop on a whim, and boy am I glad we did. They have a wide variety of snow cone flavours to choose from, and as we all tried each other's orders, we loved everything we had. I've had a lot of good snow cones before, but the ones I've had at HipPop were truly great. The ice was soft and the flavours were amazing. I particularly loved the Blue Hawaii. We had a pleasant conversation with the woman who founded the store with her husband. This place is NOT open, went today because it was a beautiful day with nice weather. Checked their website for flavors and on Google it said it was open. NO WHERE did it say that it was closed. Highly disappointed, just so everyone knows and doesn’t take a drive there. Sign on the door says will reopen March of this year..

So 4 years later and I finally made it back….to say this was the most delicious popsicle I had, is an understatement. I got the Sour Cherry 🍒 and it was soooo good. There was actual cherry pieces in it and the taste was so good!!! I definitely can’t wait to come back and try other flavors. My husband got the shaved ice and he absolutely enjoyed his too! The owner of this place is truly an amazing person! Also her snow cones and homemade popsicles are top tier. I’ve gone to this place a few times and each time I’ve always wanted to come back for more. At grapefest I bought a popsicle from her and sadly dropped it a few minutes after buying it. I went back and told her what happened and she gave me another one for free!!! She truly loves her customers and will absolutely 100% take care of you.
