Took in some chains to get repaired and appreciated the information David provided when explaining the difference between some metals and the recommendations. I gave him my business to repair two chains and was happy with the results although price was higher than some. I then asked him to clean another chain with a pedant that had what appeared a stain. Davis stated cleaning it would be better than me doing it at home. Naturally made sense since he would have tools/materials to do the job. When he gave me back the pendant he completely distorted it, removed material with the buffing wheel and completely left me unsatisfied with the work. When I asked why he wouldn’t be more careful with the buffing wheel he stated that it’s the way he does it and that it’s normal to change the integrity of the pendant. He never mentioned that prior which I would have not them cleaned it with him. David stated it was what it was and that he wouldn’t repair or return my money back ($15) for the clean up job. “oh well that’s how I clean it” he continued until his partner agreed with me and returned the cleaning fee.
