When we were new to the area several years ago Ambrosia was one of the first restaurants we tried. The food was okay but nothing spectacular and it seemed a little overpriced for what you got. After being here for a while, we found other places we liked more and we hadn't eaten here in years. We decided to give them a try again as we heard that they had remodeled, expanded and had added a hibachi grill. The restaurant is nice and upscale looking as you approach so your expectation is for a more upscale experience but as we parked and walked to the restaurant from the back parking lot we noticed that the kitchen door was hanging open and a bunch of kids of varying ages (owner or staff kids?) were going in and out and screaming, running and chasing each other on the sidewalk and around the front of the restaurant and patio area and some were hiding under tables. Not exactly what we expected. The restaurant is nice, spacious and upscale modern inside. Hubby and I both decided on the Thai Curry Noodles with tofu and our son had the Peanut Curry with tofu. The food tasted fine. It was not the best I've had and not the worst. It was not something I'd crave and seek out but it was edible. According to the menu the Thai Curry Noodles is a spicy dish but it had no heat whatsoever. We asked for something to spice the dish up and they brought some house made hot sauce for us to add to our food. Our server was friendly and brought what we asked for but was scarce and not very attentive. We found ourselves waiting a bit for him to reappear several times. At one point our son spilled a glass of water and water ran all over the table and floor. No one even noticed. We tried to contain it the best we could with our napkins but it needed something much more absorbent. When we were finished with our food we waited about 15 minutes for our server to ask if we were ready for the check and then another 10 minutes for him to actually bring the check and then another 5 minutes to return with the receipt to sign. While the place looks great post remodel, the high ceiling makes for a really noisy, unpleasant atmosphere to dine in - the noise was crowded bar level loud and there really weren't that many people dining. As we left the restaurant, the same group of kids we encountered when arriving was still outside screaming and running around and several darted in front of us as we were walking down the sidewalk and one would have run into me if I hadn't paused to let them run in front of me. I don't think we'll be back soon - nothing very impressive and there are several downright negatives. If the food and service matched the decor this place would go on our regular list.

_-**Update**-_ Went back....still good! I had jalepeno beef and my boyfriend had green curry with chicken...both were delicious! ***Original Review*** Greeley seems to be getting the majority of my recent 5 star reviews which I dont give out easily! Ambrosia Asian Bistro is the next one to receive it and it is well deserved! We went for an early dinner so getting a table was quick and easy. This is my second time there. Both times getting a table and fast service was easy as it wasnt ever to crowded. It is a HUGE place so when there is only one or two other tables it can kind of seem like you are the only people there! My first time eating at Ambrosia I was a bit confused and overwhelmed by the menu...I mean Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and then Hibachi....How do you choose?! The first mean I went with Thai...drunker noodles and it didnt disappoint! The second meal, my boyfriend and I both did Chinese...I had Sesame Pork and he had Basil Chicken. Both were very tasty and we both ordered the fried rice as the side. My sesame pork was very crispy, nicely sauced in a taste, sticky sweet sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds...the only weird park was the vegetable under garnish....they looked nice, but as they were col-ish, they just seemed like an after thought. My man had the basil chicken....It was very good! I nice stir fry with lots of chicken and vegetables and a nice, sweet and spicy basil sauce! Both entrees where of ample size for the price....if I remember around 13 or 14 bucks each. We took home a little less than half. Our server was a friendly and attentive blonde girl. Attentive, but not overly and her busser was there just enough to not intrude but to keep out waters full and our tables clean! We both just had water to drink and no appetizers and after taking and tip dinner was around the 16-17 dollar mark...I think a very good price for the amount of food that you receive. Be prepared to spend some good cash if you eat sushi though! Like every other sushi place that part of Ambrosia did seem a bit pricy....but hey, that's sushi everywhere! We deffinatley will return not only because there arent many options in Greeley besides mexican food, but because it is a delicious place to dine! Keep it up!

I absolutely love this place. This is by far my favorite Asian food around. I loved it long before they did the remodel, then they added Hibachi, and changed the game completely. So for starters, the atmosphere is awesome. It's super clean, updated, comfortable and welcoming. I just love walking into restaurants and before you even get inside, you just know you're gonna love being there. Second, the staff. Every time I have been there, they have been wonderful and attentive and very knowledgeable about their menu. With that, the food. Oh my the food is fantastic. I think what sets them apart is how high quality and fresh the food is. From their basic kitchen plates to their sushi, to their Hibachi (which is in its own category). Everything is very well presented and made very well and brought to you as ordered (hot, cold, cooked etc). Now the Hibachi experience. I have done this a few times now and have absolutely loved it each time. Going back to the staff, huge props for the table chefs. They are highly experienced, super fun, and also love what they do. That's what makes Hibachi right?! The chef. Aside from that, they always cook the food perfectly, put on a great show and leave the table with everyone smiling and satisfied. My oldest loves it so much, it's his new birthday celebration dinner spot. All in all, if you love sushi, asian bistro, Hibachi and all that along those lines, do yourself a huge favor and go to here. You'll love it.

We’ve been here a few times and I feel like it’s hit and miss. A few weeks ago we came and it was great. This evening we went with a bigger party for a birthday and made reservations for 6:30. We went in ahead of time to check in and our table was given to someone else because she thought the other party was us. Waited 20 minutes for a table and then another hour and half for our food and to get refills on our drinks. They weren’t prepared for the large party either even though they said they could accommodate for 11. We were squished together. We told the waitress and cook that there was a gluten allergy and they seemed to acknowledge but then the cook was cross contaminating so we had to tell another waitress about it so their food could be cooked in the kitchen because the cook didn’t remember apparently even though he confirmed it when he first came out. Also, when portioning the cook didn’t seem prepared. He was giving out vegetables and I was the last person and got like 5 pieces of vegetables and then said sorry I gave the others more. More practice needed maybe? You would think after giving up our table, waiting an hour and a half for food, not remembering the allergy and then shorting people food that there would have been maybe a free dessert offered, money off the bill, or something to make up for the terrible experience. We also mentioned a birthday and they usually sing but that got skipped. Chef didn’t offer saki either not that it was a big concern but I really think tonight was just a disaster! Debating on going back and we usually...
