Wing shack is great! Not a big patron, but when I think wings, I think Wing Shack. ( the location on 10th is close) Made a simple order tonight over the phone. 20 wings and fries and orings. Dude even said " how about the special" it's 20 bucks for 20 wings and a large fry.""You bet" I said. Order was ready promptly, and a very courteous young man, " Conner", cashier/cust service person. Took my payment. Glanced down at the reciept...notice a charge titled " processing fee ( 3.00 %) Hmmm... I inquired in multiple ways " what's the 3% fee for?" I asked Connor. He didn't know. After a gentle berating of Connor and his knowledge of the mystery fee I stated " I don't want to pay this fee", this magical appearing and not previously mentioned, or stated plainly on their website, fee. I asked for the manager. A very calm young lady came out and answered my question. She stated something to the effect of it covers goods and services et cetera et cetera. "Wha..." That's what the stated price is for! I'm versed in this area ,and others, of foodservice and most all that it encompasses. We have all suffered from the current economic conditions now, and within the covid years. Especially foodservice! EVERY business has a cost of supplies, rent, labor, and endless other costs. But to almost backdoor a fee that you learn of after your order is hot and ready to go!? It's only 3%... Dishonorable practice. I wonder if questionably legal when you get to the bones of it. Read moreLove the food, feel bad for the employees. I'd hate to work for someone as negative as who im only assuming the manager was tonight. The cashier came to take our order he was very kind even though we came in 10 minutes before close and ordered food. Then while ordering, who I think is the manager comes out from the kitchen very loudly exclaims "HUH, im sorry what?!" as if she doesnt know what to do with a customer and she did not have a very nice tone toawrds her cashier either. I can only hope my tip was split between the cashier that helped me and the cook! Then as employee's were leaving for the night everyone else was very kind to eachother saying goodbye, and still that same employee had a very negative attitude, even just to say goodbye to her coworkers. I was planning on giving a better tip, but that employee really threw me off. Disappointing for a team to have to work around...

This isn't the first time my order has been missing item's and I have tried gracefully to disregard the mistakes, however after tonight it's clear that the employees dont want to provide adequate services to their regular customers! I asked to have my chicken sandwich tossed in teriyaki sauce, it came plain, and my boyfriend wasnt happy with his order of the traditional wings were basically meatless,forgot my sweet potato tots, and to go bsck inside to get them and prior to getting the order my bag was tied so tightly that it took me several minutes seating in my car to check my order!
