Lollyâs Hallmark used to be my go-to Hallmark store several times a year until my last visit. In early December, 2023, I purchased a birthday gift (Vera Bradley wallet) along with several other cards and items. The birthday gift I purchased didnât work out for the recipient so I took it back to Lollyâs to exchange it. I couldnât find the receipt but I did have my credit card receipt. I wasnât asking for a refund, only store credit. The item still had the tag on it (I did cut off the small area where the price was printed) along with all tissue wrapping and foam in the wider sections. The owner told me they donât allow any returns or exchanges without a receipt because they âdonât know if I had a coupon or other discount, or if I even bought it at their store.â When I told her I had my credit card receipt that showed my total purchase on that day (over $200.00), I was told that my âcredit card receipt didnât prove I bought that particular item on that day or even at that store.â The worst part of the interaction was the ownerâs rudeness and willingness to call me a liar and a thief in front of other customers. I realize I am new to the area and am not recognized as a long-time customer but really, should that matter? If I need help or have a question about something seen on the Hallmark website I should receive friendly service and an offer to help. Not so this past week. I ended up driving an extra 10 miles to the Amy's Hallmark in Loveland and was received there with customer service that was sooooo much better! Is this the "hallmark" of the new owner? ...

My 3 year old son and I were trying to find a mothers day gift for my mother his grandma and one lady went behind the counter and whispered something to the other (which I heard by the way) and the other female employee rather rudely said "Don't let him touch those because they need to stay in order". I was putting them back as he showed them to me. What was supposed to be a fun experience for my son and I ended with tears from him because we left with no gift. We won't be back. This place is not single parent nor...
