I'm hearing impaired and with everyone wearing masks it makes shopping(currently) even more stressful since I have a hard time understanding anyone. Between the background noise, the plexiglass, the music playing and the masks making it so I can't read lips I can barely understand what the clerks are saying to me and I am sure they think I'm rude. I typically state I'm hearing impaired so please excuse me if I have to ask you to repeat yourself. Well tonight was no exception until it was an exception. The cashier was very nice but I couldn't understand her, I said my usual that I was sorry and was hearing impaired, the bagger, Andrew, heard me and came to wear I could see him in front of me and pulled his mask down so I could see his lips while he asked my bag preference and the cashier(sorry, I don't remember her name but lane 12)followed suit and they both went out of their way and were very mindful to be sure I could see their lips and made my experience perfect. After a long hard day it was so nice to see such caring and know there are still very kind people out there. I shop at festival a lot and this is the first time I've ever had someone do this for me, it makes all the difference and I hope the other employees learn from their example. I did let the manager know how pleased I was as well. ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been purchasing bagged ice from Festival Food Store near me!!! I am disgusted šµāš«š¤®š¤¢ to one that their bagged ice could have literally have been making me sick! I put some of their aged ice in glass while taking a bath and the ice melted when getting ready to take a sip of the water there were some form of white matter floating in the glass. So I thought did I accidentally splash soap in the glass. So immediately after getting out the tub I thoroughly rinsed another glass put some more ice in a glass and waited for it to melt. When it did I got sick 𤢠to my stomach. The same white substances were floating in my glass again. I am never buying bagged ice from Festival Food Store again. It was disappointing and disgusting that a big grocery chain store like Festival Foods would not be careful about products sold in their stores are not well managed and maintained. If you want to see what I photographed from the melting bagged ice check out Yelp!!! One looks like the shape of a worm!!!! So nasty. If I were you I would think twice before buying bagged ice from Festival Food Store and any other stores for that matter. Festival Foods sop selling tainted ice to...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePicked up Silk brand soy milk on January 31; (stupidly) did not double check the date in-store, as non-dairy milk tends to have a longer shelf life. The date on the carton is January 22-- it should not even have been on the shelf.
When I attempted to contact the store via the email listed on the receipt, as I felt including photographs would be more effective than a phone call, the email bounced. The listed address is non-existent.
Google reviews appear to receive responses, so here we are. Everything else I picked up is fine. I don't like the organization of this store compared to other Festival Foods I've been to, but I could overlook that for the convenience of location if I could trust there wouldn't be expired products...
