I'm here to give an HONEST review. I've had a Chevy EV for about 3/4 Months and I'm counting down the seconds to get rid of it in 3 more years.. I've despised the car after 3 days of leasing it. Anyone thinking to buy this car truly needs to educate themselves on EV's not just go based off of what the dealer educates you with. Apparently, each model of this vehicle comes with different mileage range. i have a standard blazer that only gives me a 280 mile range on 100% battery. unrealistic for a parent like me. i transitioned to this from a Traverse that gave me 420 mileage range on a full tank. In other words, the blazer EV with 280 mile range is like having a half a tank... in terms of charging. Your best bet is to have a charger installed in your home. WARNING: OUTLET INSTALLATION RANGES BETWEEN $1K-$2K.... if you use a traditional outlet you will get about 4 miles for ever 2 hours you charge. public chargers do not work 98% of the time, especially the free ones. The ones you pay for, also don't work half the time and the ones that do get taken up so fast. I had 8 percent one day which is about 12 miles and i spent an hour trying to find a charger and could not find one., this actually happened a few times if im being ENTIRELY HONEST. The first time i charged my car to 80% which is what is recommended- i spent $60... again, $60 for 80% battery which is 226 Miles. Think of it as $60 for half a tank. The car has a nice ride - its about the only thing i like from it. Super smooth- no gear shift so you can go from 0-100 real quick, no pun intended. The car has an auto brake feature which will give you whiplash any time it activates. i tried turning it off because the emergency brake has turned on on me in the middle of the highway and me driving without other cars in front of it. Its happened to me parking, at a green light, coming off an exit- you name it. again, I've tried turning this feature off and it still activates on its own. in my opinion- dangerous- especially in the middle of a highway or coming off an exit as anyone can easily rear end you. the car has the bird view to park which is pretty great. this is an electric car- like a cell pone- they glitch all the time. some days the screen works, some days it does not. some days it works and then in the middle of me driving the screen goes all blue etc. The car is definitely spacious, although i lost a 3rd row seat from my Traverse- the trunk space makes up for it. the google or Alexa feature it has- instead of car play- never works.. N E V E R - i call for google or Alexa and they're response is always "i seem to be having a problem right now" or the screen says "feature unavailable please try again later". please keep in mind that this is how you pull up your GPS or music while you're driving- so if you have an emergency mid ride- you're better off pulling over. also, back to the battery quickly. I was told any GM dealer will charge for free- this is absolutely inaccurate. I've visited a number of dealers and they all state this was a lie. they can charge in the even of an emergency but you have to pay. They'll also tell you GM offers incentives to install the charger in your home, well, guess what, this doesn't apply to the Blazer EV.. all they can do is recommend you electricians. i tried returning this vehicle after having it for one week- 10 days- and was told i had the car for a month so i couldn't be helped. it felt like a month because i got it on the 28th of the month and came back on the 7th. I want to be fair and state the dealer did offer me alternatives for my vehicle and my situation a smaller Buick for $800 a month and more money down payment.--- clearly i had to keep this EV which i despise with every ounce of my body. This dealer definitely lost what could have been a loyal customer.. again, this car, for me, a no go... HOPE MY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE CAN HELP SOMEONE ELSE!

I've been waiting for this moment to tell my experience! My wife and I parked at the dealership and before we walked inside, we said a prayer that the Lord give us a car that meets all our needs. Coming from a totalled 2017 nissan Altima, I really wanted upgrade to a SUV with a sunroof, butt heaters, and apple carplay. After our prayer, we took a deep breath and went inside. We were automatically greeted with a smile from the front desk, which warmed my heart. She asked how she could help us, and we said we would like to purchase a vehicle. She stated, " Well, We have a bunch of cars! Paul, can definitely help you out with that!" Paul was already standing next to the front desk with an eagerness to help. We already knew from that moment, we were in good hands. We gave our budget and my top requests in an SUV and he directed us to all the available vehicles on the lot, making sure to stay in our budget and even going beyond, by grabbing a vehicle that just got dropped out to check out. We immediately fell in love with 2024 Chevy Trax 2rs. We immediately got the keys for us to give it a nice test drive, and we knew this was the car for me. It was fully loaded with everything and more I could ever want in a SUV. After we pulled back in the dealership, he was standing in the front already waiting with the same big smile. We said right away, " This is the one!" He said " Great, lets get the paperwork started!" We got inside, and he offered us beverages before getting started, and even gave me a bag of his favorite cookies. My Co'signer lived out of state, and took a bit of time to get all the paperwork done, but it was a great experience from start to finish. Unfortunately i wasn't able to leave with the car same day. But when I did pick it up, it landed on the day of my dad's birthday. He passed away a couple years ago, so it was a very special moment for me. I named the car after him. " Blackbird". Thanks to Paul for being a amazing Sales Rep, I will remember this moment for the rest of my life :)

So sad to have to post this but its important that people are aware of situations like mine. No matter if you buy a certified or new car always have a second opinion. I bought a 2020 GMCAcadia at the end of May. The same day i picked up the vehicle, the check engine light went on. i reached out to them and they picked it up . They supposedly had fixed the issue, but suprise the light went on again that same they returned it. At that point they took the car again but this time they kept the car for 30 days. Yes I was given a loaner and was paid my first month for the inconvinience. After 30 days I got my car back. It worked great for about 25 days. At this point I havent driven the car for complete month, yet my car was going in for the third time. At this point they couldt take the car back , all that was said is that they could take the car back to fix and that was it. Now this third time my car was in it was something major and scary. On July 25th my car started making very weird noise from under the car. On the morning of July 26th I texted the GM regarding th issue. My issue was not known by the service team till 330pm, which at that poit I was tol that it was late, and they didnt have loaners so my car would be picked up the following day, July 27. There was no concern from the party. My intuition told me to get it checked by another mechanic close by. Not only did he tell me what was wrong with the car but he took pictures from my phone. The noise issue was due to a broken spring from the stabilizer, but whie he checked the ar he saw something very concerning. My rear left calipers were missing 2 screws. If you know anything about cars that could of cost a major accident. mind you this was a certified car they sold me. After telling this to the derler the service advisor told me that when they certified my car, and when they chaged my brakes the mechanic must of forgotten or didnt tighten all the screws. I cant make this story up. This led me to open up a case with GM motors.

Initially when I approached sales team for purchasing gmc terrain Denali 2024 team has shared me a quotation for terrain Denali with out premium package for 42500 as out door price this price includes $1000 dollars as registration fee. Sales team informed if registration fees goes down to 400 or 450 I will receive rest of the amount. Based on this confirmation I requested to get me terrain Denali 2024 with primium package then sales team mentioned you may need to pay for $1000 extra , which I agreed and proceeded with the purchase for $43500. All thought out the purchase I was checking with the sales team about the refund or adjustment of registration fees they were agreeing for what they initially committed. After the purchase also I was connecting with sales team for the amount , they were mention it will be returned from government registration office. After a week I was going through all the paper work they shared , i those documents they mention archival registration cost only $400+. When I took this up with sales team and there manger , they are mentioning we have adjusted the rest of the amount towards cost of the he vehicle with out even mentioning or being that to my notice. I even asked them to share there compliance team information to report these they initially said they don’t have any after requesting again and again , they said they will share in 20 min , but no one share those details. I even had batter deal from other dealers like Maxon and performance gmc , due to the until talks I trusted and went with them.

————-/////////// After having one and one discussion with manger and sales rep and other service members I am adding this to the existing msg. Thanks for your time . The only reason I bought car in green brook is just because of the sales representative that I have meet . From day one I was asking him about the $1000 registration free and refund process if registration office charges less. Every on assured me that if registration office charges less than $1000 I will get the rest of the amount back as check. Things did not go as planned, as non of sales persons or managers did not mentioned that you are adjusting the amount against the car value and sending only $490 (I,e mentioned on purchase order ) or $411 (I,e that is mentioned docs during )for vehicle registration.

Green Brook GMC Service Department Review

I recently had my third visit to the Green Brook GMC service department, and unfortunately, my experiences have been consistently disappointing.

From the moment you walk in, the lack of greeting or acknowledgment is striking. The service staff seem engrossed in their computers, not even lifting their heads until you make the first move. It's a frustrating start, as you'll find yourself standing around waiting until you speak up for assistance.

I purchased a brand new 2023 GMC Sierra from this dealer and was very pleased with the buying process. However, my satisfaction ended there. The service department has failed to meet basic expectations each time I've visited.

First Visit: I went in to have the tailgate emblems readjusted because they were not set symmetrically. When I returned to pick up my truck, I found the emblem placed crooked and off-center. This issue was never corrected.

Second Visit: I brought my truck in for a simple oil change. The next day, when I picked it up, my truck was blowing clouds of white smoke from the muffler. I had to return to the service department, only to be told that they had overfilled it with oil. A simple "sorry" was all I got. Overfilling the oil could have severely damaged my engine, and their lack of concern was alarming.

Third Visit: Upon picking up my truck after the third service visit, the check engine light came on as soon as I pulled out of the lot. Furious, I went back and found that they had forgotten to reconnect the mass flow air sensor.
