Green Valley True Value — Local services in Green Valley

Just moved to Sahuarita/Green Valley, and wanted to check out true value to pick up some paint as the wife and I are getting ready to paint the inside of our house & I was needing a new tool pouch. The price of my tool pouch was great and our greeting at the front door was nice, I would’ve left a 5 star review but the fact that the entire time we were in the store we were being shadowed by the staff. When we were at the paint booth, the cashier never took her eyes off of us until I held eye contact with her leading her to engage conversation with my wife. After being at the paint booth for about 5 minutes we went on our hunt for the tool pouch, In less than 2 minutes we had the same employee checking what we were doing multiple times. We don’t appreciate being profiled and judged. The shadowing was very off putting, I had more aisles I wanted to look down as I need some tools for my job but we felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome by the staff at this point we paid for our tool...

Got to share a quick story. I went in to fabricate an outdoor porch lamp shade with polycarbonate to stand up to UV better.

I ended up at True Value and wasn't able to find what I needed. They had me leave my name and number to get back to me after talking with multiple suppliers. The store manager, Saul (hope I'm spelling his name correctly), contacted me 3 different times with his research on the topic. All the solutions were way too expensive, so he suggested I get in contact with a specialty shop (which I won't name here). Talk about service! I've never had someone put so much effort only to completely lose the sale!

This is a great place to shop for just about everything you might need for the house, lawn and garden, automotive and everything else in between! There prices are fair and on this particular day I found a few items (I bought all they had) that we're real bargains. They are always helpful and return's are not a problem. And don't forget to get your rewards card (I'm not sure if that's what it's called) that gets you great coupons for monies off your purchase after you get to the different levels of what your purchases have added up to on every shopping trip you make. Sorry if I confused you. So stop by and walk the isles and get familiar with what they carry. You'll probably end up getting something that you can't resist and things that no other stores in the area carry!...
