The Thrift Store — Local services in Green Valley

Oh goodness my heart sank when we showed up at this place this past weekend! Our family used to drive 45 minutes just to come to this store and we would always find great things! I’m not sure if the store has new management or what but this past weekend everything was different- from selection to prices -things that used to be $5 were now $40!! And no that’s not an exaggeration . I am well versed in quality, material, uniqueness of items at thrift stores- which is why it was worth the drive to come here before- we used to come out with a couple bags full of good deals and no more. :( We barely found 2 things to buy this time. The selection has drastically dropped as well which was also sad to see. Was a quick trip in and out. I couldn’t believe it. I hope it works well for them. There are good people who work here and we have always liked their boldness in how they stand up for things that are right in this culture today. But sadly we won’t be making the drive anymore. Small place did not even knew it was there, I drove by near business to get a hair cut and there it is on the corner; found what I was looking for, did not bought it but wife did bought 2 ladies purse's for herself; happy wife happy life, the front desk person even speaks spanish, real nice people...
