Had a horrible experience at this store. It used to be run by a young man who knew quite a bit, but now an older mexican woman, Ysabel Damon, that knows absolutely nothing and is of no help whatsoever, is the only one there. She talks on the phone instead of saying Hi, Hello, or can I help you. The freezer was broken and she said it had been broken for months, the store smelled like a dead animal, the shelves were dusty, there were very few products, and most were expired. Green Valley Health Foods closed over a year ago and a new store, Desert Wellness Nutrition, opened in its place. The new store is owned and operated by a nutritionist and certified holistic health and wellness practitioner. The store carries a wide variety of health foods and supplements, features a health library, and is constantly adding new products. Some of the services it offers is nutritional counseling, fitness training, nutrition classes, among others. They are always there to help and will do whatever they can to get special products in.
