ALDI — Local services in Greenacres

Shopping at Aldi's was wonderful in my opinion, because the prices are actually reasonable; and fair to the consumer. I'm not just writing this review to see my post online. It's simply a fact that I would like to spread to those who are unfamiliar with Aldi's supermarket chain. The average consumer like myself should be able to shop for the necessities without breaking out into a sweat while approaching the cashier. Thus far I have never felt any unnecessary financial worry while shopping at Aldi Supermarket. So many supermarkets say that their prices are reasonable, but when you go to purchase a basic item you find that the prices are actually extremely high, and not at all what you were expecting to find based on the hype of their commercials. Thus far; the everyday prices, and quality have been excellent at Aldi supermarket from what I've experienced personally. Aldi supermarket is truly a wonderful place to do my grocery shopping. The promise of lower prices, and quality from Aldi supermarket is kept each time I do my grocery shopping there. I personally appreciate that they are environmentally conscious. Aldi supermarkets only requires two things from the consumer; and those two things are; you use one of their empty delivery boxes to carry out your groceries, or use a bag you've brought from home; or even better yet a eco-friendly bag that can be purchased anywhere today as we all are aware. An eco-friendly bag can be used over, and over again in the future after it's purchased. That really does impress me in a big way. It's an important, & simple thing to do considering how much money you save for everyday items at Aldi supermarkets. Let's be honest; it also benefits the planet in the long run. The second thing is that you insert a quarter in order to release, and retrieve a shopping cart before you begin shopping, and after you're finished using the shopping cart you will be able to retrieve your quarter back when you return the shopping cart to it's original holding area right outside of Aldi's supermarket. It's that simple. This allows Aldi not to be bombarded with missing shopping carts, and in the long run saves you the consumer money. It makes perfectly good sense to me. When valuable property of a supermarket, or any business is damaged, or stolen it will eventually hurt the consumer's pocketbook. Aldi supermarket is simply being proactive in order to maintain it's low prices, and quality goods for the consumer. I personally have no problem with it, and appreciate their foresight. Aldi supermarket chain pushes aside all of the unnecessary things in order to pass forward the very best prices in Meats, Vegetables, Fruits, Toiletries, Frozen Goods, Snack Foods, Protein Powders, & Various Laundry Detergents etc. This would be a never-ending post if I attempted to mention all of the items available for truly low, and reasonable prices at Aldi Supermarkets. There are too many products to mention. The quality of the items offered at Aldi supermarkets are excellent in my opinion. I've use their products personally, and found the quality to be superb in my opinion. It's always fun to go to this store on the South West side of Hypoluxo that is new and clean. They keep a good stock of groceries, many European items, plenty of knick knacks and sundries. Fruits and vegetables and other items are on sale every week. They have a neat carriage system to help reduce customers leaving them to hang around in the parking lot. All the carriages are hooked up together. In order to get a carriage you have to put $0.25 in the slot, which you get back when you put the carriage back in the slot. What people will do to get their $0.25 back!!!! They sure don't leave carriages hanging around all over the place. My Pet Peeve: My sister's motto is, instead of putting back the carriage, she gives it up to the next customer without asking for the $0.25. 99% percent of the time the next person does not offer to hand over $0.25, which she wouldn't take anyways. And 100% of the time customers have not offered the carriage without getting the $0.25. I find this so disconcerting. What is wrong with people? This upsets me so much that at times I don't even want to bother going to Aldi's. Really people???? $.025???? Maybe Aldi's management can put up a friendly sign saying "pay it forward" or something catchy to bring out kindness and generosity in people. What say you...

For the most part their prices are on point, and if you stop in at the right time you can get some awesome deals on Fresh Cheese, Meats, and Produce- Produce and Dairy tends to be either SUPER FRESH or to the point it shouldn't be on the shelves because its rotten/expired- That being said make sure to check the dates on EVERYTHING that has a date stamp. If it doesn't then look closely in the bunch to make sure one of the items isnt rotten bc it will ruin the others.... When things go on sale- Get them at the beginning of the Sale instead of the last day bc chances are youll get the leftover picked over items. You will not find the same brands here as you find at Wal-Mart or Publix bc quite a bit of their products are European brands and/or imported. They also offer quite a few Organic varieties of produce which is right next to the regular produce for usually the same price- Cant beat that. This is not a one stop and shop for all....This is a place that will cater to very specific needs but if you get in a habit and learn the shipment dates, you'll really end up with quality products at a fraction of the cost...
