Flash Cleaners — Local services in Greenacres

Since they were understanding, I have decided to amend the review from 1 Star to 4 Stars. ——————-Break————(Initial Review)——— If a Dry Cleaners advertises it is the #1 Dry Cleaners in Palm Beach County, then the location should be able to handle an increase in business. My coworker and I tried to rush a military service uniform (shirt and slacks) for a two-three day turnaround, and we both were willing to pay extra for rush service, and we were turned away. I stated I was willing to pay double the cost. I have used this dry cleaners for over three years which included over two thousand dollars at this location. My coworker and I were very disappointed to be turned away. The Operations Manager needs to review their labor and services to handle an increase in services, especially advertising “the Best in Palm Beach County.” We both found new dry cleaners—I recommend Cost Less Dry Cleaners off Jog Road. It is unlikely I will return to Flash Cleaners after three years of valued service and expenses. First off I really hate giving bad reviews and nobody's perfect so I like to give everybody the benefit of the doubt. I tried these guys out because I thought my cleaner might be charging me too much and their rates appeared to be a good bit lower. I dropped off more than a dozen shirts "for dry cleaning", and when I got them back they were horrible! Every last one was wadded, thrown on a hanger and some of my bright colors even faded. All of my clothes are nice high-end Brands so I was admittedly upset. I called and spoke with the owner who told me to bring everything back, and after he inspected them he apologized profusely and said that it looked like they had been laundered instead of dry-cleaned. He said he would have them all redone, hand-pressed, and he would inspect himself. What I got back while better than the first round is still incredibly subpar. I will post pictures to show but this is atrocious and I will never be going back. Once shiny black sure now completely faded, all shirts arrived only a single top button, watered the whole way down. No hint of a press whatsoever it would almost look better if they were laundered and hung on a hanger straight...

Update 03/04/24: Mr. Austin called me apologizing about the situation, he was respecful and nice. He asked me to bring the clothing back in order to try to remove the dark spots. Sadly the spots were still there, but when I got home, I washed them again and put some "Shout" stain remover on the fabric. They were spotless! It took just 20 mnts for the stain remover to work on the fabric. I have learned my lesson, never leave the store without checking the clothing. I decided to continue using Flash Cleaners. She went back to her country very happy!
