This is my favorite movie theater around. First, no one is cheaper. Their prices are as advertised with tax already included, it still has the classic theater feel to it versus all these luxury theaters that charge way too much for a mediocre service but are claiming to be the best. Most of all, the employees and management are incomparable to any business around. I feel like a part of the family when I show up. They have quickly resolved any issues and they go above and beyond to make sure I am happy with the experience...plus, where else can you get such good prices for theater food. Usually I'll try to sneak in food to a theater, but not here because they aren't charging an arm and a leg for having a fun time at the movies. I recommend this place for everyone I know. They also do special events and show movies that other theaters don't, like old school flicks and new foreign films. Great place to have any kind of event. They are a little tucked away, but the gps brought me there with no issues and there is always parking available. I was sad to see them close for a while when covid was raging, but have been going there steadily since they re-opened. Their sister theater in Delray is also great, different atmosphere but same qualities I look for in any...
Read moreEverythinhg herr is amazing from insanely low pricing to quirky events, including a midnight horror movie club to car shows. Tbis weekend is a Grateful Dead movie with a Dead tribute band. During CoVid theatre lockdown the management should films on an outdoor screen for FREE. Yes Free. These people have heart and support independent and foreign films. Don't get me wrong, they also show first run blockbusters with an amazing sound system. Concession pricing is also at affordable pricing. r lolaltyPopcorn and a drink $7. Icecream $3, a whole assortment of cool goodies. Friendliest and kind staff. I think management believes a path to prosperity is teaching young people how to run a business and build customer loyalty. By now, you may think I work for Movies of Lake Worth. I do not. If you ask enough people they will tell you I am a crumudgeon and my review is completely unlike me, but I also believe in giving credit where credit is due. We can never give the Movies of Lake Worth and their sister theatre, Movies of Delray Beach...
Read moreGreat local theatre with friendly staff. 2 Main Complaints: The average age of moviegoers here is 65+ so I understand if they don't remember that you are not supposed to talk about your Mahjong score or if that Chinese restaurant buffet is still open during the entire movie. The theatre needs to put the same pre movie reminders on the screen that every other theatre uses to remind these folks to turn off their phones and be quiet during the movie. I've been here many times and this same problem happens every time. I only go here out of desperation because they show movies I would have to go to Ft Laud to see otherwise. 2: They have the most uncomfortable seats I've sat in-except at a fast food restaurant where the seats are designed to make sure you never get comfortable and so you leave sooner. This, along with the theaters being shaped like a sunken bowl (instead of stadium style seating), forces me to seek out a chiropractor after...
