The flavors are there! I would give 3.5 to the food if it was an option not a 3. First time trying KamWah - the price and delivery time were very good. I ordered egg roll, pork Lo mein and Triple delight - all arrived correct, hot and with nice portion sizes. The Egg roll was crispy on outside but mushy on inside the taste was good but I prefer my egg rolls with visible crunchy vegetables inside not the mushy paste - just preference perhaps. The lo mein flavor was on point and the roast pork was some of the best I have found in Florida in a long time. The noodles were just a bit too mushy for my taste but as I said the flavors and pork were right on. Triple delight was ok - the brown sauce was very watery but again great flavor. The Chicken and beef were very tender and the vegetables were fresh. There were 2 medium shrimp in the dish and they may have been on their last day..i smelled them and chose not to eat them…fish can be tricky. The white rice was just right, fresh and cooked perfectly. Overall for the price the flavors and value are there..I would stay away from the shrimp and stick with the chicken and definitely the pork. My wife ordered from kam wah over the weekend, after waiting over an hour for our oder they left out a portion of our order. We called, they down played the issue and was not eager to redeliver nor were they apologetic. In stead of trying to make it right for a longtime customer, they wanted to perform a quality assurance check with internal employees. We had to teach them CUSTOMER SERVICE ETIQUETTE! They proceeded to argue with us, they had the nerve to even say that it was to far to come back to deliver the missing food item. We were so very displeased and disconnected the call. They never called back to make with right, no nothing. This is not a business driven on Customer Service, Customer Relations nor Retaining Dedicated Customers. Worst chinese food ever! First time going here. Ordered 4 different dishes and not one of them was any good. Let's start with the eggroll - mushy inside and more like a spring roll. Wonton soup - wonton meat smelled and tasted like it was bad - threw it out! 1st entree - bourbon chicken- all dark (cheap) meat and dry as can be. 2nd entree boneless ribs..what a laugh -thin tiny strips about an inch long and dried out! 3rd entree beef lo mein - meat was gray- trashed, and finally sesame chicken - the only entree that was somewhat edible - every dish was dried out and lacking enough sauce. Should have returned it all but not worth my time! Won't ever be going back there and those people that gave them 5 stars must not know what chinese food...
