I can't begin to thank the staff at Home Depot for their professional guidance, as I went about seeking the proper tools, and materials for my home project. I was assisted by 3 superb examples of excellence in customer service. The three employees that assisted my friend, and I as we searched for the products we required were Bob, Kervin, & Raul. I've no knowledge of their last names, or I would have included the initial of it in this review. I hope they receive the recognition they deserve. Each one took the time required in order to be sure I had exactly what was necessary for me to complete my home project. Not once did I feel rushed, or that I was wasting their time; as so many employees at other businesses tend to do these days. They actually followed my friend, and I around your large Home Depot store to be sure that I chose the proper materials for my project. They also took the time to explain in detail why, or why not a specific material would not, or would work with my specific project. Each employee noticed that I was in a bit of a quandary, and was not familiar with much of the materials needed, and patiently, and respectfully made it their business to assist me without judgment. I am extremely grateful for their professional assistance that day. Their Superior Customer Service didn't go unnoticed at all. That is exactly why I made it my priority to write this review. I hope that their superiors actually see this post, and reward each of them for their wonderful customer service, because they each deserve it. They truly do deserve recognition in my opinion. Thank you Home Depot for supplying a wide variety of materials, and making it easy to purchase everything that I needed for my project in a single place. It's especially appreciated by my friend, and I because we had many places to go that day. We did not have to waste enormous amounts of time hunting down those materials required for our home project. I give the credit to those three employees. Please continue to provide that specific level of quality customer care, and I will continue to shop at Home Depot. It's the little things like that that truly make me have allegiance to any business, or the lack thereof allegiance to a specific business. I also was extremely impressed with the service of your cashier at that specific store located at Lantana. The name of the cashier who waited on us was Genesis. She was so pleasant as she assisted us while ringing up each item. She had to ring up two separate orders, and it was quite a large amount of items. She was patient, and friendly just the same. It's always wonderful to be greeted in a friendly manner. It truly means a lot. Our experience at Home Depot that day couldn't have been better. What a perfectly well-oiled machine you have in that specific Lantana Home Depot location. Whomever is managing that specific store location is doing a magnificent job in my personal opinion. If a business has a well supplied store, but lousy customer service; it's all in vain. I'm pleased to see that the Home Depot store at the Lantana location is a balance of great customer service, and well stocked with supplies.    Read moreThis is the worst store for customer service. Every time I go in I can never find anyone to help me . I always have to go searching for someone. On multiple occasions i have had to pull up the item I am looking for online just to locate the item . This is also not reliable, bc they tend to move items around. Yest I went for a simple bottle of spay and forget to clean our siding and roof and I needed the big ten gallon bottle. I ask the associate that I did find what I could use to spay it and he didnât know or begin to have an idea. The bottle had no adapter for a hose. There was a smaller bottle with an adapter for practically the same price but only covered 600 square feet . Since he couldnât be bothered to help me or come up with ideas I called my husband who said I needed a garden sprayer . Go to Garden and the associate there is sitting at the register playing on her phone . Show her what I have in hand and what I need and she directs me to the garden section to watering cans ! Again frustrated I go online google garden sprayer go look and canât find a soul to help me. I gave up . Then I said let me pay for the mop head replacement I have in hand . Go to their newly updated self check out computers and I canât pay cash apparently I can only use a card. No one is around to explain this to me and when someone happens to show up straightening umbrellas behind me I ask sbout paying Cash says I canât and turns away. I attempted to talk to him about how unfriendly and frustrated I was trying to get any help but he didnât care and turn around. So I left my item where it was and walked out. We have spend thousands in that store and I donât mean 1,2,3 or 10 thousands. I mean a lot more and the service has gone down tremendously.
