I am a 30+ year patron of Chik Fil A and have always been treated with the utmost respect, courtesy and customer service. My experience today offered the exact opposite. Upon a confusing transaction at the register, I immediately checked my bank account upon leaving the restaurant. I was handed a receipt for $8.86 (with my correct order), yet my bank account was debited. $9.76. While this is a nominal amount to say the least, it is an erroneous transaction nonetheless. When I called to speak with a manager (Blake Pierre supposedly), he immediately stated "Well this sounds like a bank error, you need to call them". I attempted to explain that my bank is only going to charge my card what the cashier entered and requested from the bank but I was met with a nasty attitude from this so-called "manager". He once again stated "I have no resolution for you other than disputing it with your bank". So I said to confirm, "You're telling me that you want me to call my bank and dispute this transaction? You realize that will mean you do no get paid at all, correct?". He responded "This is the only resolution I have for you", while maintaining his condescending and demeaning tone. I offered an alternative resolution of simply giving me a complimentary menu item upon my next visit. He responded "So you want something for free for an error that we didn't cause?". When I began to respond, he said "Okay, that's all then....have a nice day" and hung up the phone.
In my experience with Chik Fil A, this is not indicative of how they look for their employees (much less a manager) to represent their organization. Along with contacting the corporate office, I have also sent a message directly to the operator of this location (Lake Worth). I feel that it is essential to give these parties the opportunity to take the proper action so that their good name is not tarnished by the rude and immature actions of one single employee.
Additionally, the piece of chicken on the biscuit was laughable. The last time I visited Chik Fil A, I also received a sorry excuse for a piece of chicken. Both pictures are below. I'm really not sure what is going on because I've been enjoying eating here for many many years but it seems that the quality/value of the food is going down and now apparently the employees are following suite.

Read moreThey had one line going then a employee decided to make me the first car in the second lane which was fine. They took my order then told me to merge into the first line since there were cones blocking me from continuing in my lane. When I had a chance I merged, I was half way merged and another employee said to get back in the lane I was coming from and she would moved the cones. I did as I was told. No employees were coming to the second lane to give food. People in the first lane were pulling up and getting food but no one at all in the second lane. Then the lady at the window yelled to me someone was bring my food. When they finally came it was the same employee who made me change back into the second lane. The employee came over and handed the food to me. Then walked away. I called after her cause I was missing food from my order. Then when the employee at the window gave the other employee my food she handed it to the car in the first lane. The employee at the window said that’s not hers and then lady in the car told the employee it wasn’t her food. The employee said oh well we can’t take it back so it’s okay we can make her another one. The lady in the car then asked for sauce to go with my food that they gave her and she left. I was still waiting for my food. Finally I get the rest of my order and she didn’t apologize or anything she just said have a nice day . My fries came to me cold and I received no straws for my three drinks and the sprints were just flat carbonated water, we couldn’t even drink them. It was horrible experience and I normally love chick-fil-a and go to this location often but will not be returning to this one...
Read moreSo I went here for the 1st time. I went through the drive thru . Never seen the menu so I wanted to look it over. Unfortunately there was a kid standing outside taking orders. I told her I had never been here before and I wanted to pull up and look at the menu. Standing there with a sour grin on her face she told me it's right here and pointed at her device. I said is that all you have, there's not much on it. She said well there's more on the back. I said I can't really see the menu so I'm just going to pull up to the very large billboard menu and take a look. She said no you have to choose from this menu. I once again said there's not much on it and I can't see it. She said this is the only menu we have. So I'm looking at this tiny menu with only a few items on it and I can see the billboard menu behind her with a lot more items on it. But she still will not let me use the large menu. So I'm staring at this tiny thing while this kid is looking at me like she hates her job. I had to rush my order because of this andwasnt even sure what I ordered until the food arrived.
