I was in town for the holidays and needing some cute new nails, I stopped in here on a whim because of the good reviews but I was highly disappointed in the manicure I received. The salon itself is clean and the receptionist was very friendly, but the nail tech I was given was very rude. First off, he told me that he could not do the nail shape I wanted. I normally get my nails a little more pointy than almond shaped, but he said if I wanted any point to my nails, I had to have them longer than they were. I know for a fact that doing a point was doable because other salons have been able to shape my nails the way I wanted with no trouble. He didn't seem willing to give me what I wanted and did not even ask me if the nail shape he made was okay. Secondly, the actual painting of my nails turned out horribly. When I went out into natural lighting, there were so many streaks and bubbles in my gel polish. It was awful, I was so upset that I went back to request it be fixed. I can let a streak or two go, but honestly every nail had a problem with it. When I went back, he said he could not see anything wrong with my nails but begrudgingly agreed to fix them. When I tried to show him all the streaks, he got upset and said that it was my fault, that the color I picked always had streaks. I've gotten this color at other salons and had no problems.....not sure why he found it so difficult to paint my nails a dusty pink color with no streaks. I agreed to change my color preference to cater to him. When I picked the new color, he said, "I'm only painting ONE nail so if you don't like it, you don't make me take all the nails of AGAIN". He made me feel extremely guilty for wanting to receive a quality manicure. When I pay for a service, I want it to be done correctly and the manicure he gave me was the worst I ever received. Nails came out to be very nice I like them. However when it came to my pedi, it seemed like she was tired in really did not put in effort in my feet. I wanted to get my chin waxed. She was very rude to say to a customer . I can’t wax that it looks like a beard. I can’t wax that it’s like my husband hair. What !!😡 stop wait !!! Why would you say that to your customer. 🤔did not even try at all. Then she kept asking do you shave, She didn’t even try to wax anything . Let me just say it was waxable. I had to go somewhere else to get my damn chin waxed. I never had a problem getting my chin hair wax no matter how thick or how short it is. I was very displeased. I wasted 50 dollars in this nail shop in it was NOT worth it at all. I WILL NEVER come back . I hope everyone at this shop read this . For me my experience it was horrible. I will never return even if it was the last nail shop on earth . After all this was said to me I was very upset 😡. But I did not react out of character. It’s a lesson learned for me. Half service just want your money in bye. Also it’s very rude when your getting your nails done in you talking about the customer like we don’t know . Have tried going many times and they only come out good when Tommy does them. Only recommend going if you have Tommy. Today: Wrong shape, one longer than the other (thumbs), wrong color (asked for it not to be pink.wanted nude or natural color), there is glitter I didn’t ask for in the gel coat (as seen on picture if you can see), black dots from wherever in the gel, the nexgen layers are thin and I can see the tips underneath (see picture), nexgen not applied evenly or to the cuticle (see pinky), and it looks like I could’ve got them done for $10. When pointing things out I don’t like or told her about how I wanted them done, I got lectured to trust the process and that there is a way that it’s done for x,y,z reason and it’ll be good at the end. Well it was not good at the end. I got the saddest excuse for a French tip nexgen with white “tips” that are barely there (it looks like I have the largest nailbeds ever). I shouldn’t spend $53 to do my nails and then go home to try to fix them to the point I literally had to file them to not look like a cube and took off the clear coat gel and painted them over. Only would go back if tommy isn’t booked. I’ve tried to many people there and nothing got better. Nails snapping after 3 days from light work (I work in an office), gel polish layers coming off in the same amount of time. Just tried to smile though the ugly nails.
