Walgreens — Local services in Greenacres

Waited two days for my prescription to be filled. I called and they told me they couldn’t fill my prescription because I “usually go to another Walgreens” even though my DOCTOR called and put an order in THIS location, so I could get my medicine while my usual Walgreens was closed for a few days. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and was getting cranky with my on the phone telling me YOU CAN NOT get your medicine here I CANT HELP YOU, I explained that I had to make another appointment with my doctor just to get the prescriptions rewritten and I’d already been two days without my medicine. They told me false information and left me with nothing. I called my old Walgreens and they told me that because I am not paying with insurance there is no reason at all why I shouldn’t be allowed to go to ANY pharmacy I want if my doctor places the order. And that she has no idea why a pharmacist would tell me something like that because it isn’t true. So don’t go to this Walgreens unless you want to go days without your medication and then still be left empty handed and treated like a crazy person just for trying to get your prescription filled…...

This pharmacy is ridiculous. I usually go elsewhere but it was convenient as the dental office was nearby. I dropped off the prescriptions around 12pm. Came back after 4pm and 2 were ready one was not. It was a controlled substance and the pharmacist was giving me a lecture on how the provider shouldn't have prescribed that mg to someone who's never taken them. Something about paying out of pocket Yada Yada. I said ok I will but I need to get going so can I have my prescription. Was told I'd have to wait almost 20 mins now because it wasn't ready and I could pull around or come in. So I went inside with my 2 kids and what do you know it was ready. What was the point of that? Super inconvenient. Maybe if they had concerns they could have ya know, called me? I understand there's an opiod pandemic in America, but pretty sure my dentist prescribed what he did for a reason. Ended up being late to an appt due to the inconvenience. I'll give 2 stars cause the gentleman when I went inside was apologetic.Will not use this...

Normally I wouldn't bother with a bad review and just take my business elsewhere, but Ive had it. I've used walgreens all my life to fill my prescriptions and will now switch over to cvs because of this pharmacy. They keep you on hold and you get automatically hung up on when they don't answer. They also had a data breach where 4 of my prescriptions kept randomly disappearing and had no answer for it whatsoever until one of the pharmacists actually stepped up to help on the THIRD day of not having my prescriptions and asking for help. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY IF YOU TAKE MEDICATION REGULARLY, THEY ARE CLUELESS AND ARE NOT THEIR TO HELP YOU WHATSOEVER. OH AND WATCH YOUR INFO AS THEIR APP HAD A DATA BREACH. Also,as far as the store itself is concerned, at night it's impossible to get service to check out.
