I recently had an unfortunate experience with my laptop. A book fell on it, shattering the screen. I went to a repair store where a very nice man took my laptop. When I got it back, it looked brand new!
However, when I started using it, I noticed the new screen wasn't properly installed. The lower left corner was sticking out, affecting the touchscreen functionality. I wasn't too worried because the guy was nice, and I thought he'd fix it if I went back.
I returned to the store, and he took my laptop for a while. When I got it back, I trusted it was fixed. But as soon as I got home and used it again, I realized the screen issue was still there. He mentioned fixing something else, but it wasn't the problem I needed addressed.
I called back but couldn't return immediately due to personal issues, including my dog getting bitten by a pitbull. I also messaged the store but got no reply. Maybe they didn't see it, but it was distressing nonetheless.
I'm writing this review to caution others who might be on a budget. It's not just about the initial mistake, but how it was handled. Mistakes happen, but how you fix them matters. It felt like they wanted to rush me out without fully addressing the issue.
Iām open to being proven wrong. There might have been a miscommunication. But as of now, my laptop is unusable due to the screen installation, and Iām out an extra $200.

I brought my laptop in and a very nice employee Francisco greeted me and I explained what was happening with my laptop and they deduced that I had a failing hard-drive. But they will run a diagnostic check for $20. I explained to Francisco I just want all my pictures and if they can't save the computer that's fine but I just want my pictures. I left and within an hour I receive a call from Francisco and states they may be able to get all my files but it's going to cost around $200 and how did I want to proceed. I told him to go ahead and get the pictures if they can and he said once they get the pictures I can verify if it's the folders I was looking for and if it wasn't I wouldn't be charged. I get a call to come and pick up my computer and verify if they were the right pictures. They were I was beyond elated they put them on a flash drive for me and it came to be about $180 and he asked me what did I want to do with the computer and I said I'll just take it since it's failing. He informed me that my computer can still work if they put a new hard drive that would cost $99. I said okay go for it. I left and within an hour I get a call the computer is up and running which I was so happy about because I had planned to go buy a new computer for $500 to $600 that day. I know I was a bit detailed but they had excellent customer service, and were able to obtain my pictures and save my computer. $20 for a diagnostic check you can't beat it. I will recommend...

Walked in a few weeks ago the day my screen broke to find out how much it would cost and the person there took one quick look at my phone and told me exactly how much and how long it would take. Today I called before heading over still skeptical and wanted to confirm the price and turnaround time as I had to leave work early to get there before they closed. Sure enough they reconfirmed what I was told in my last visit and headed over there. I was immediately seen and they got to work on my phone right away the moment I passed it over the counter before I even finish filling in my information in their sign up system. Once I finished I swear I had not sat down for more than 6 minutes and my phone was DONE. I really couldnāt believe it. I paid what I was told, no extra fees no different charges, it was exactly as quoted and I was in and out of the store with less than what felt like 10 minutes with a new screen on my phone as well as a screen protector. This was easily the most amazing and efficient experience Iāve ever had needing to get a device repaired. I absolutely plan on going back if I ever need to.
