I bought a pair of pants that unfortunately didn’t fit me completely well. I went back to the store a week later to do an exchange for a larger size. I had the receipt with me but did not have the tag on the pants. The owner wanted to compare the pants in store to the pants I brought back to “see the wear” and accused me of actually wearing them “longer than I thought” as the pockets were folded and wrinkled. I explained how I tried them on at home confident they’d fit but they were very tight around my thighs, I took them off and had them folded up on the dresser for that week.
