Steak Escape Sandwich Grill - Southridge Mall — Restaurant in Greendale

Don't give this place service, go to a different Steak Escape. This one is nothing but crappy employees and crappy service.

Not only will they charge you for upcharges without telling you, they will refuse to give you a refund, and then refuse to give you any kind of customer service number. I won't be going here again, charging me for "two refills" when I ask for a glass of water. The cashier tried to, after I paid because I hadn't realized it, clarify that "it's a new rule" and "I was charged for the cup" when she gave me the big cup full of water. What the hell? Not only did they not tell me it was an upcharge, they also put it as a "refill". Not one place in that damn mall charges for water, let alone refills.

And yes, the "manager" or whomever it was directly said "no" when I asked for the customer...

Very disappointed today, I went to the food court for lunch today and decided to give it a try. After ordering the gentleman who took my order took already cooked soggy fries and re fried them. Then the cook put my meals meat on one side of the grill and started to clean the hoods above the grill while my food was cooking. Steak Escape has made my favorite steak sandwich for almost 20yrs...that makes me feel old!😒😅 My mom & I have both been craving one of their steak sandwiches & fries for months, but because of the pandemic weren't sure if they were open anymore in Southridge Mall. We were SUPER hungry today & by the mall & decided to stop in to check. We were SOOO HAPPY to see they were still there!! The people were great & the food was delicious...
