Spencer's — Local services in Greensboro

Cool store but the rude, unhelpful staff ruins it. I was in there last week and going to buy a shirt but none of the employees seemed interested in helping, they were just talking to each other, so I tried to get the shirt down from an upper rack and used a pole they had hanging nearby to reach it (there was no sign that said not to use said pole) at which point an employee suddenly leapt into action, sprung over and took the pole, then scolded me for using it. However, never once did they offer to continue helping me reach the shirt so I could purchase it.

Because of their rude service I simply took notes on my phone of what I liked then went home and purchased it all online. There is literally nothing in the store you can't easily purchase online so why put up up with rude employees who are so adverse to working that they'd rather be rude than lift a finger to help a customer check out? If this is what retail is like in 2022 I'd much rather the mall close and let Amazon...

Nice place. Great to pick up party games and gag gifts. Has lots of body jewelry and lanyards. Also has sexual toys, lingerie and other products in the back.
