In the heart of Greensboro, North Carolina, Bonefish Grill emerges as an epicurean haven, beckoning discerning diners with a symphony of flavors that resonates with culinary artistry. To commence my gastronomic odyssey, I sampled the chowder soup and house salad – a masterful introduction to the feast that awaited. The chowder, velvety and rich, swirled with an aromatic blend of ingredients, offered a harmonious contrast to the crisp, garden-fresh house salad, which bore the hallmark of meticulous preparation. Imbibing in the libations, I ventured into a white sangria and margarita. The sangria, an embodiment of fruit-infused nectar, danced on the palate with grace, while the margarita's harmonious balance between sweet and tangy notes orchestrated a symphony of flavors that encapsulated the evening's allure. The crescendo of the evening unfurled in the form of entrées. The special, an ethereal marriage of swordfish and sweet potato ravioli, was an opus of culinary innovation. The swordfish, masterfully cooked, was testament to the chef's artistry, while the sweet potato ravioli added a nuanced depth to the dish. A side of brussels sprouts, cooked to a crisp perfection, provided a verdant counterpoint. My exploration continued with the mahi-mahi, gracefully intermingled with succulent shrimp, complemented by mashed potatoes and broccoli. A revelation awaited as I chose to embellish my mahi-mahi with the Chimi cherry sauce. A mere drizzle of this ambrosial elixir elevated the entire composition to an operatic crescendo. The mahi-mahi, tender and resplendent, harmonized impeccably with the shrimp, creating a crescendo of flavors. The side of mashed potatoes and broccoli was a harmonious accompaniment, showcasing culinary mastery in its simplicity. While the culinary experience was a harmonious symphony, it's important to note that the only minor note of discord was the level of attentiveness from our server. While pleasant, their attentiveness left something to be desired. The ambiance at Bonefish Grill is a symphony of modernity and comfort, an ideal backdrop for the cosmopolitan young professional. Attentive service underscores the restaurant's commitment to excellence, though, in our case, we longed for a touch more of it. Despite this minor lapse, the overall experience remained remarkable, transforming any visit into a culinary sonnet. In summary, Bonefish Grill in Greensboro is a dining establishment that transcends expectations. A veritable ode to culinary innovation, it is a sanctuary for the discerning palate, where classic flavors and inventive brilliance coalesce in culinary harmony. For the connoisseur in search of an unforgettable dining experience, Bonefish Grill is a transcendent virtuoso, albeit with a minor caveat in the realm of service.

This one was tough because our server Dania, REALLY saved the day, she is the ONLY reason I'm giving 3 stars. Her patience and attitude was top notch! I have never sent items back to the kitchen in a restaurant but there is a first time for everything. I'm not sure I'll come back to this location. First Impressions: First, I called to find out the wait time but I was immediately placed on hold. 5 mins later I walked into the restaurant to find the hostess on her phone 🤯 and the restaurant not busy. She wasn't personable at all. Once we were sat we were told that our server would be over shortly. We noticed that there were quite a few empty tables that weren't bussed yet. We waited and waited but weren't greeted. It was about 8-10 mins before my sister stopped one of the servers from another table and asked if she would mind checking on where our server was. She went to check and said someone would be with us shortly, a min or so later she noticed we were still waiting and said she would serve us. Food: For Appetizers we ordered the Imperial Dip, Bang Bang Shrimp, Beef and Ginger Potstickers, and BFG Crab Fries. The BFG Fries, which was a new item, was Very Good! It was the highlight of our Appetizers. The Bang Bang Shrimp is a classic for BFG so we expected it to be as good as it was. The Imperial Dip was Ok but as we were eating we noticed it came with a little surprise of a piece of Plastic from a wrapper in it. We didn't want it after that. The Beef and Ginger Potstickers.... Just NO. The dough for the dumpling had this gummy raw plaster like consistency. It was not good at all. For our meals, I ordered the Sirloin and Shrimp with Mashed Potatoes and Mac and Cheese. The sirloin was cooked perfectly as far as temperature BUT had absolutely NO seasoning. I had to put salt and pepper on it at the table. The Mashed Potatoes were what you would expect, nothing fancy. The Mac and Cheese... it had NO cheese. It was literally a bowl of noodles- I HAD to send that back for more Mashed Potatoes because it wasn't like it was just a not so good Mac and Cheese. It was a Mac NO cheese. I was SO disappointed by that. Grilled Shrimp was good, it was a Scampi sauce on it. Very good. My sister ordered the Mahi Mahi and Shrimp with Creamed Spinach and Mashed Potatoes. Thankfully She liked it. Cocktails- LISTEN, the drinks were affordable and GOOD! We had the Coral Reef punch, it was so good I ordered 2 and my sister ended up getting one after her Pomegranate Martini- which she loved! I would DEFINITELY come back for the drinks! Overall, our Server, Dania, the Drinks, the Bread and the BFG fries would get me back in the door. If I can't have all 3, I don't want it!

The Bonefish Grill Experience (Online Order/Curbside Edition). I decided to venture to Greensboro and knew Bonefish Grill would be one of my stops. Where I reside now in Winston-Salem, we used to have a Bonefish Grill, but it closed soon after the COVID-19 pandemic hit. I originally wanted to eat inside and get the whole dining experience, but late reservations were the only thing available. So I opt-in placing an online order. I ordered mussels made with tomatoes, red onion, garlic, basil, and lemon wine sauce. Also, I selected the Imperial Dip made with shrimp, lump crab, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses with a side of seasoned house-made tortilla chips. I also ordered a seasonal special, the Baja Scallops and Shrimp Scampi Pasta made with bay scallops, tossed with shrimp in a garlic scampi sauce, topped with fresh tomatoes over linguini. I also ordered a side of spinach. The online ordering system gave me a 45 minute pick-up time and was easy to use. I pulled beside the curbside pick-up sign upon arriving after the designated timeframe. After parking, someone came outside to ask for my name. After giving my name, my bag of food came out. Once home, I warmed up my meal and found the mussels sauce delicious but did find some grit in one or two of them. The Imperial Dip was pretty good, but I felt it would have been better if eaten at the restaurant. The Baja Scallops and Shrimp Scampi Pasta had no flavor and needed a ton of salt and pepper. A selection such as pasta at a fish place was my fault. So would I go back to Bonefish Grill? I would go back to Bonefish but probably opt-out of ordering takeout. Instead, I would dine in and get the whole experience. The cheeses from the dip did not hold up on the ride home, and microwaving did not provide the taste as if eaten from stove to table. In addition, the pasta dish was not the best representation of Bonefish Grill. Yet, I would be willing to give them another try if and when in the area again.

For the past 6 months, I've been experiencing a storm of very serious medical issues-- issues that affect multiple organ systems and which have drastically affected my mobility. Knowing I need all of the nutrients I can get to keep my body strong, my S.O. & I have switched my diet to the cleanest, healthiest meals possible. (Salmon, lean meats, healthy vegetables & fruits, etc.) He and I are both public servants, so our budgets can't exactly accommodate this diet easily, especially since I can no longer cook at home safely. I live almost exclusively on takeout/Doordash now... and between the two of our accounts, we order from this Bonefish location 2-3x a week on average, sometimes more.

Tonight I got some very bad medical news, and needed a little extra "love"/emotional support in my food, so after I ordered my meal through Doordash, I did something I NEVER do-- I called the restaurant to ask for 'extra'. I spoke first to someone whom I'm assuming was reception/hostess?, then was transferred to another person working pick-ups/carry-out/etc. I asked for extra lemon butter sauce for my grilled salmon, & asked that if the chef hadn't already put my fish on the grill, could they please blacken my salmon? (Neither of these are options you can choose on the Doordash app) Both of the staff I spoke to were friendly, efficient, supportive... and when I got my food, my special requests had been met.

My sister and I had dinner here Saturday. We arrived before 5pm for an early dinner. We were greeted and sitted promptly. Our service was horrible!!! Josh was our waiter and was very pleasant and said our bread and water was already on the way. Wow that was great. Until it wasn't. It didn't come and took a long time. He kept going to the bar area because someone had been let go. Because of this we were neglected. I don't know what the problem was but we definitely suffered because of it. He apologized and we thought he would make sure we would get the attention expected of this place. No such luck We ate our bang bang shrimp without anything to drink. Miserable and no excuse. We ran out of water 2 times!!!!! Everything we requested we always had to ask again. We ordered coffee with our dessert Josh said he would start a fresh pot. Of course he didn't. He kept blaming everything on his team!!!! Our dessert came and no coffee. Finally someone brought it and I had enough and told her how bad our service was and didn't get any better before I finally had enough and complained to the girl bringing our coffee. She sent the manager and I told him everything and he said it was because of a large party. No it wasn't we were well ahead of that party and I told the manager this. Also I stated 4 tables were seated after us and he was the waiter on 2 of them. All of these tables including the large table seemed to be getting good service. After I said something to the manager it only got worse. The manager said he was one of his best servers. He wasn't for us he was horrible. We went for an early dinner to save time. It took over 2 1/2 hours for us to eat because we were not promptly served. The manager didn't do anything for us either and once something was said to Josh you'd think he would have improved. It was actually worse .Our food was good. But sadly my sister will not go back again because of the bad service. I always enjoyed the Winston Salem location great service and the manager was amazing. I hope this reaches corporate and something is done to prevent this for happening to someone else. It won't happen to me again because I'll spend my money somewhere else. Josh if everything you blamed on your team are you not their leader. Lead by example and if something goes wrong step up and turn it around the best you can. You continued to give us bad service the entire time and we sid nothing until towards the end. Why apologize for something you were not willing to make right from that point forward. Josh his team and the manager had several chances to make this a different experience and chose to not correct our experience. Shame on all of you!!!! The young girl bringing our coffee tried to help and also another waitress brought us water. The saddest thing is I've had several of the other servers and it was a...
