Regret going through them. Should have stuck with RAC. I’m a single mom who left an abusive relationship, so I had to start over on everything. After two years I decided it was time for a bigger couch for me and my growing son. Everything was fine, I found one I liked at Aaron’s and the lady was really nice setting up my agreement. Until two months into the agreement, I had to have emergency surgery and missed an entire week of work, on top of that my bank cancelled my rent making me extremely behind. I called Aaron’s ahead of time and told them I would be late and explained why. The guy said he would notate it in my account, he did not. He also said it was okay for me to be a week late since I had always been on time. Obvious lies. The day the transaction was supposed to go through they still tried to charge me. It was obviously declined. I was struggling with money very bad. The week goes by and the money is in my account to take out like usual on Saturday and I think everything is okay. When I hear a knock on my door at 9pm at night. Usually I would be asleep but I had guests over for my sons bday party. They charged me a $22 late fee, which was NOT mentioned at all. Not only was it extremely embarrassing having this guy come over trying to take the sectional but it was completely UNNECESSARY. They didn’t even try calling, texting, or emailing me before just showing up to my place. Communication is absolutely horrible. If they would have contacted me I would have told them the money was in my account ready to take out. I had to use my sons bday money to pay the stupid never mentioned late fees. If my son didn’t love the couch so much I would tell them to come take it because their nasty customer service isn’t worth it. RAC was polite and understanding about my situation and I had no issues with them. Regret regret regret. Paying them off as fast as I can and never going through them ever again. These people are horrible and not compassionate at all. They are everything you DONT want customer service to be. Guarantee you they won’t even read this and the same generic comment will be made...
Read moreVery unorganized. I have been purchasing from them for a while now. I purchased a washer and dryer. they were perfect. Purchased sectional and it did what it was supposed to. Gave it away when I was done with it. I then purchased a reclining couch and love seat. Manager promised it would be cleaned and sanitized prior to delivery. Set a time and a date for delivery and it was brought dirty and some sand type stuff all over it. It was also several hours late. I was exhausted and decided I would just clean it myself. The recliner on one end of the couch did not raise up. I decided I did not want to deal with this disappointment anymore and went online and purchased a brand-new set from their website to be delivered. Was supposed to get a call the following week to confirm. This was a month ago. Already have my first payment due tomorrow and still do not have my new set. Store employee called me last week to ask how my delivery went? What kind of place is this, really? I informed him; I have not had my delivery, nor have I had my call from him to even set it up or confirm purchase. He said oh ok, let's do it now. Set it up for today and it is after 6pm and it still has not been delivered. Called the store and asked why the delay and the same guy, Josh, said he didn't even put me down. Stated they close at 7pm. I stated that was not my problem this was supposed to have already been taken care of and I have already made my 1st payment for something that is still not even at my house. He states it will show up soon. We will see. I will NOT be dealing with this place anymore after this. Not worth the headache or added stress. I will go elsewhere to purchase what I want in the future and someone else can deal with these kids. Read moreBefore I signed an agreement or received the items I was interested in renting to own. I received phone calls from them (employees of the store) saying I owed them money, aggressively asking “when am I going to make a payment”, and I was “behind on my payment”, plus someone came to my home and put a note on my door asking me to contact them. This is very unprofessional, disrespectful, unwarranted, and it lets me know that I should not deal with these people since they’re not able to keep their orders accurate and be aware of the payment times. The harassment is ridiculous and obviously insulting. In addition, they did not have the specific items advertised as “specials” posted online, and suggested other items for higher prices. And even thou, I rented and paid off over a year in advance several more items from another Aaron’s than I requested from this store they didn’t want to consider my good standing with the other store and refused to allow me to rent the maximum $550 a month rent limit I was eligible to receive. I do not recommend the Aaron’s in Greenville, Texas in any way, shape, or form.

To be fair and remedy these issues and prevent them from happening again, every person at this location needs to be fired. I read other reviews about this store and I can tell this is not the first time customers have been mistreated. I don’t understand how any business can expect to make a profit, and get repeat customers with mistreatment like I experienced. This should’ve never happened.
