Man oh man... This place is terrific. Let me "don" my best Trump impression for this review... Donald Trump did not really go to this establishment

Let me tell you folks, I went to the Texas Cafe Diner, and it was just tremendous, believe me. The best diner I've ever seen, honestly. I ordered the Monte Cristo, and let me tell you, it was incredible, the best sandwich you could possibly imagine. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and the flavor, oh the flavor, was unbeatable.

And for my little son, Carson, he got the egg and bacon breakfast platter, and it was just perfect for a four-year-old. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon was crispy – the way bacon should be, not like that soggy stuff they serve elsewhere.

The atmosphere, folks, it's like stepping back into a golden era of diners. Authentic, warm, and just the right vibe. You walk in and you feel like you're part of something special. The Texas Cafe Diner isn't just a place to eat; it's an experience, a five-star, top-notch experience. Tremendous. I give it my highest endorsement. Make America Dine Again with the Texas Cafe Diner!

Edit: I have to amend my previous review to add my most recent visit. My family went to another restaurant for my son's 5th birthday for breakfast. We were not waited on for about 10-15 minutes and left. We came here to eat instead since we had such a wonderful experience before. Once again, the staff went out of their way to make our experience perfect. One of my sons wanted a custom ordered pancake and the staff knocked it out of the park. My other son ordered something regularly on the menu and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and kind, just as they were when we were there before. I love this diner. It is a treasure in this town. It will be my family's new go to. We love...

I’ve been pretty excited to try this place after seeing the menu and some of the pics of their food online. It was a full house but we were still seated immediately. The first thing I always notice is cleanliness and they are doing a great job. The floors, tables and chairs were clean as were the condiment bottles and shakers on the table and everything appeared to be in good repair. They took our drink order very quickly and our food order at the same time. Our drinks were out very quickly and the food was out just a few minutes later. The portions were very generous and everything was quite hot and tasty. The chicken fried steak was well prepared. The breading was tasty, lightly seasoned and in good proportion. The hash browns were crispy and not over or under done. The garden omelette had a considerable amount of fresh veggies and cheese and the pancakes were light and fluffy. We did use a little salt on our dishes but we do like our salt. The signature hot sauce was very good and we purchased a bottle to take home. Everyone was very friendly, the service was good and the food was great. Needless to say we were very pleased with our experience. We are excited to try more of their food and will definitely be recommending...

recently had the pleasure of dining at Texas Cafe Diner in Greenville, Texas, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of delightful. Upon entering the diner, I was immediately greeted and promptly seated at a cozy booth.

Faced with the challenge of choosing from the wide variety of delicious options on the menu, I decided to indulge in a bit of everything. My order consisted of chicken fried steak with eggs over easy, grits, a pancake topped with strawberries, and a side of biscuits and gravy. To my surprise and delight, they also serve Segafredo coffee, which was of higher quality than the coffee at most cafes and diners I've visited.

The chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection, boasting a golden and crispy exterior with a pleasing texture. The biscuits were light and fluffy, featuring a slightly grilled or broiled golden brown top. The pancakes were incredibly airy and delectable, leaving me thoroughly impressed.

My personal favorite combination was the chicken fried steak and eggs, paired with the scrumptious biscuits and gravy. Overall, my dining experience at Texas Cafe Diner was exceptional, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a delicious and...

When I walked in I wasn't greeted by anybody. Is around 8:30 when I walked in and there were plenty of seats available. The waitress who eventually served me didn't tell me her name but she did tell me that she was a manager when I was done with my meal. The food was fantastic! The Denver Omelette was really tasty and you could tell it had fresh ingredients but it lacked cheese. The shredded hash browns had good flavor but could have been cooked a little more. I had two issues; the butter was in small little containers like you see at any other restaurant. After I ate my meal, the "manager" told me that they do offer butter in a small cup. She didn't provide me with that option. If you need syrup, be careful picking up the glass dispenser because it'll give you a first degree burn on your fingers. The overall restaurant is well planned out and clean. Just enough to decor on the walls to keep your interest but not overwhelming. The bathrooms are small. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, the food was excellent, but I think they need to work on their customer service skills. I give this a grade of B+.
