Twice in April 2020 I called the Greenville store and very simply was able to order and pay over the phone for a cake. One time the wonderful person who answered the phone even gave me a choice of available cakes in the case by describing them over the phone, taking the information to write on it and then taking the payment so I could easily come through the drive thru and pick up. So of course yoi can imagine my shock when just now I was treated beyond rudely by a person claimimg to be the store manager. I explained several times how I had done just less than a month ago and she said NOPE, you have to come in and choose from the Lobby, we can unlock the door and let you in. Well I don't want that. I want the same wonderful service I received not once but twice just last month. I do not understand why she could not tell me what they have available and take my order like the other two individuals I spoke with. I am disabled, I am high risk for COVID-19 and I do not want to have to go in and pick it out myself personally when I should be able to easily give instructions and pay over the phone for an already available cake and send my husband to pick up in the drive thru like we have twice before! I am utterly in shock at how RUDE the manager was and if it wasn't for the fact that I want to get my child what he wants for his birthday cake and the lack of DQs remotely close by except for Greenville I honestly would NEVER go...
Read moreWe walked in to the store at 8 pm. Tonight and was told rudely that the lobby was closed and the doors were locked! I responded the doors were not locked as we just walked in. A young family had just ordered and were sitting down. We obliged and walked out to go through the drive up. When we received our food I notice the young girls tag said shift manager. As also managing a local retail business I kindly offered her some advice about customer service, but she continued to be rude and made up a lie about there being a line and they couldn't on anymore customers. Read moreI placed on online order for a Oreo Blizzard Cake on Tuesday, 2/11 and received email confirmation. I scheduled pick-up for Thursday, 2/20 at 7PM. Upon my arrival, my cake was not ready nor was there any record of my order despite having email confirmation. I appreciate the staff's willingness to be a part of the solution; a staff member grabbed an unfinished cake to write my message and added the chocolate cone dip / drizzle to the perimeter. Despite her effort, I am extremely disappointed with my cake. I am unsure if she is the primary cake decorator but I would assume not based on the appearance of the message on the cake.
