The fish tasted great, but, we ordered our fish there at 5:35 pm and were told they would call or text us when it was ready. After a half hour, I started wondering if they forgot our order, so I had my daughter go in and check. They said we were up next it would be a little bit longer. 15 more minutes had gone by, my daughter checked and they told her they were packing it up right then. 15 more minutes had gone by and my daughter went to check again. She was waiting out in the hall another 10 minutes and I called to ask what was the holdup and was told they don't know and overheard someone say they gave that order to someone else. It was going to be a few minutes more. We love the fish fry down there but after an hour and 15 minutes, I had lost my patience. Then they were out of coleslaw. Not my best experience. there is dancing there about once a month thru an adult mixer group. you can be married, single, doesn't matter, they welcome everyone. they have a DJ that will play request. the legion offers a good variety of food and drinks.. very friendly staff...good food. great dance floor. I spent 42 dollars for 3 people to have steak dinner Fri night. Ordered 1 med well 2 med rare. The 2 med rare were well done I could only manage 1 bite. My daughter had 3 bites of hers.
