Went in to get battery replaced on iPhone 12pro. Battery has been bad for awhile and I got a gift card for Best Buy so I figured I’d use it for the battery. When I got in they started the diagnoses on my phone, whee doing it the person asked if she could show my phone to the tech. Of course since they be working on it. They looked at the camera lenses in the back of the phone and one is cracked and another is gone since it cracked a long time ago and I peeled the broken glass off. They said they can’t replace the battery as moisture would get in through the camera and they recommend a completely new phone. I asked why and they said apple’s policy says that. I walked out and called apple and told the girl on the phone what had happened and asked her and she said they don’t have any such policy and that didn’t make sense for moisture to get in through the camera, and if I wanted to spend my money to replace the battery that’s my prerogative. She said it seems like they did t want to repair it. I have an appointment set up for the Apple Store for tomorrow where they will happily take my money and...

And an appointment for 6:20 and arrived a 6:28 but did not get checked in until at least 6:35 and was told that they were not going to be able to help me. I tried to call the store at 6:18 to let them know there was an accident at the intersection by the store and I could not get in right away. Nobody answered the phone I was still on hold in the parking lot when I pulled up. When I came in to get checked in and they declined helping me I ask to speak with a supervisor Tony. After a debate of why he wouldn't help me which made absolutely no sense considering there was nobody else waiting I went ahead and left. The sad part is there were two other appointments showing on the screen that did not show up and they did not even offer to work me in since I was already there.    Read moreI had a very unforgettable time using Geek Squad at this Best Buy. The entire GS system needs to be revamped and modernized to better meet with the client expectations. My laptop was being work on for about four weeks, they couldn't ever tell me what exactly they were doing but insisted I confirm the higher prices, and when they finally did finish they sent it back without the trackpad hooked up and it had to be sent back out.
All that being said, the Geek Sqad at this Best Buy handled my issue with dignity and respect. They understand the issues that happened and handled it as best they could. I appreciate the service from these gentlemen but highly suggest someone speak with upper management so that they can better implement new procedures that better supply a more...
