Unfortunately, I don't have much that is positive to write. We purchased our engagement ring and both wedding rings from here. I've been working with this store for close to 7 years and, at this point, I don't even want to come here for my yearly ring cleanings. From promises not being followed up on, craftmanship seeming subpar, and staff being inconsistent in what they tell me, I will never buy jewelry from this place.
If you want more details, you can keep reading: we've had multiple small diamonds/ gemstones fall out of our rings, then were told it was more or less our fault. One reason we came here was the promise of matching gemstones on the inside of our rings. Now that mine has fallen out twice, they tell me that these stones don't tend to stay in because it's on the inside of the ring (false promise/ subpar craftmanship/ inconsistencies from staff). We live out of town and are limited when we can drop our rings off for cleaning. Recently, we were told our ring would be ready at a certain time. When we arrive, we had to wait nearly 45 minutes with young children waiting in the car (false promise/ unprofessional). When my ring was resized, after receiving it back, it was very apparent where it was resized. They also resized it right where my interior gemstone was - which I'm sure doesn't help ensure it stays in the ring (subpar craftmanship). When I come in, I'm told 'there's nothing in my file'. While not explicitly said, it's heavily implied that I'm lying (regarding conversations I've had over the phone or in person about stones falling out, when I've come in for maintenance/ cleaning, etc.). This means that I'm always working with someone new and always starting from ground zero in sharing my frustrations in working with them (unprofessional staff; inconsistencies from staff)
Overall, these things may seem insignificant. But, when you spend $10k+, you expect these items to be immaculate, complemented by a professional staff who is honest and forward with you. None of this has been...
Read moreI had visited Reis-Nichols after traveling to several other jewelry stores in search of the perfect engagement ring. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by Brice. He was incredibly welcoming, and his overall demeanor put me at ease. Every other store I had previously visited, I felt an intense pressure by to buy one of their stock rings, with the salespersons not caring about what I wanted and envisioned the engagement ring to be. Right from the jump, Brice asked what I was looking for at which point he began showing me rings that were beautiful, though not what I envisioned. He told me, though at the time I didn't think it could happen, the only limitation on creating/modifying a ring was that of my imagination. I selected a ring that, at it's base, was in the ball park of the style ring I wanted. The original ring was a mix of both yellow and white gold, though I wanted the ring itself to be rose gold with additional smaller diamonds around the center diamond. He told me that this wouldn't be an issue, nor would any of the other modifications I requested. Several weeks later, I received a CAD image of the ring and immediately fell in love. It was EXACTLY what I envisioned the ring to be. Several weeks after that, the ring itself was complete and I can honestly say I'm still floored with how amazing it is. Would HIGHLY recommend Reis-Nichols, and especially Brice, to anyone looking for an engagement ring. The atmosphere was relaxed, never did I ever feel pressured to make any decisions which was quite the opposite compared to the other jewelry stores I had previously visited. Brice was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and actually took the time to hear what I wanted and make it happen. He truly cared about my thoughts, and helping me through the engagement ring...
Read moreWhen I first walked into the store the I was a little anxious as we had just been out running errands so I was just wear my old comfortable jeans and a t-shirt. The first thing I noticed is how wonderful the store smells. We walked up to the counter and were greeted by Adam. Within 2-3 minutes I was no longer anxious. Adam made me feel so welcomed and worthy of being there. I have ADHD and have a hard time focusing when I’m excited or have to make a big decision like picking out a wedding ring. Adam was soooo patient with me and showed me several different rings with a smile. Never once did I sense that he was losing patience with me. This is a very big deal for me. After we spent an hour or two of looking rings my fiancé and I left to think it over. We came back a couple weeks later and Adam remembered exactly who we were and exactly what ring I had loved. He made some design changes and ordered the ring. Adam was very informative and kind through the whole process. If I ever buy another piece of jewelry I will go back to see him. If you’re on the fence and trying to decide if you should go look around with them, trust me, just do it. You will not regret shopping Reis Nichols. Ask for Adam! He is amazing and wonderful, never pushy or rude. The world needs more people like Adam. Through small chit chat and nervous conversations I can tell he is a very genuine person who truly does just want to help you and answer all your millions of questions.
THANK YOU SO...
