We have never eaten here before, walking in gives a warm welcome. The hostess was friendly and seated us quickly. The waitress introduced herself as Becky, very pleasant even with the issues we encountered (wasn’t her fault). She was attentive but busy and missed a-few things. We ordered water for as our drinks, don’t get it! It tastes horrible. I also had a coke in a frosted mug, it was excellent! The frosted mug is the way to go with any beverage. The chips are part of the experience, although they were COLD, but, you can’t always have warm chips. The Queso dip is “homemade”, they have two kinds, white and yellow. Neither were good to us. We had three in our party, two ordered chicken quesadilla from the vast selections. I had the big bordurrito with chicken, no black beans. It was large but so good! The food was good on all fronts. On our way out we asked for chips to go, we never got them but that’s okay. If you like Mexican I’d recommend it. They were given a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for cleanliness. It needs a good cleaning, the lights above the table have the potential of dropping dust onto your food, the menus were sticky with sauce and food. The bathrooms were “okay” but need cleaned. I understand it’s hard to keep a busy place clean. Guess it should be done after they close.

Really disappointed with On the Border in Greenwood.Me and my son stopped by here because it was close to the theater where we were going to watch a movie. The place wasn't even packed but it took an hour to bring this to our table. By the time it came out we had less than 15 minutes before our movie started, so I didn't even have time to address the issue unfortunately. He asked for some of the toppings to be put on the side, they put all of it on the side. They gave him literally 15 chips with some steak and some cheese on it, and It was cold. My tacos had this much meat on all three of them and my beans and rice looked like they sat under a lamp for half an hour. I wasn't expecting an amazing meal out of this place, but for $47 come on.

Normally I’m not one to post a bad review . I know working in the food industry is hard . I work in it myself . However , I ordered my food and arrived a few minutes before the arrival time. Since it had been 30 minutes since I ordered I thought it would be fine . I arrived based off the suggested time . Upon arrival I stood in the pick up area for almost 10 minutes . Meanwhile the general Manager was chatting with another employee only a few steps from me. No acknowledgment. There’s another employee out there going back and forth . I just continue to wait, after all I showed up 5 minutes before the ready time. Finally a employee from the kitchen cam around and asked if I had been helped yet . I said no I had been waiting for an online order . She goes into the kitchen and another girl brings me my order immediately. I get home and start opening up all my food. It’s cold . It’s not even room temperature. If I wanted cold food I would have ordered door dash or ate ice cream . The thing that makes me upset is that not only did I Waite while no even acknowledged my existence, I also tipped 20% on my pick up order, and my food is cold. And I didn’t receive the chips and salsa that you guys give out . I feel like ever since the gm Rumple or Richard left this location has gone down hill. He also made me felt welcomed . Even made my dad and I this special spicy salsa. And taught his staff how to make it so when we came back we could continue to get it. That being said since he has left , I’ve gotten poor quality food, and service. I know people make be short staffed due the virus but I ordered 1 1/2 hours before close. Unfortunately due do these constant experience I know go else where to get food . And instead of coming in every week twice a week it’s now once every few months. I know this will most likely get ignored . I just felt that for a business it’s customers are not it’s number one priority. Instead of driving two minutes away to come here , I’ll drive ten minutes away to another restaurant. Anyway , I hope every...

Where to start!!! Hello my wife and I was going to eat at your restaurant on 12/28 it was raining and when we walked into the restaurant the floor was wet and my wife slipped because the floors were wet in the entry way the rugs were rolled up under the benches We were greated by the host and noticed chips and food behind the stand on the floor.we were seated and the table and seats had food on them. We were seated by the restrooms and where the servers put in there food orders into the computer. Our waiter cleaned the table and got our drink order and we thought the manager would come and see use us about problems were having. When the manager Angelica I guess was her name but made it clear to say it right when I talked to someone. Her first words out of her mouth was what's your problem!!!!!!!. We told her about the floors wet and slippery and she said she was In the back and didn't know it was raining and wet . It had been raining all day. Then we said something about the food on table and seats and menus being nasty and stuck together and she said they have used them all day and the place was dirty she said they were busy . This was about 650pm at night. Then she just turned and left the table. We ordered our food and drinks and the drinks came I told the waiter the manager was being a b!!!h and couldn't care less about the problems we had someone told the manager and she came to our table and told to leave because she didn't like what I said about her. But her attitude was horrible from the first time we spoke to her. So we got up from table and went to leave and I asked to see the server so could tip her out for our chips and drinks but the manager told us to leave. I did find her and tipped her. I have never been talked to like that from any manager before. I guarantee I won't be back into this restaurant Again and this needs to go up to the highest chain of command to see this doesn't happen again. TO TOP IT ALL OFF WE HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THIS RESTAURANT BEFORE And have a...

Came here earlier on New Years day with my family of 8 and 2 of whom were in high chairs. Upon walking in we had an issue being seated. Mind you they were not busy at all. The hostess and another coworker asked if we were okay with being seated at different tables due to the only large table was already being used for another party. We let them know we wanted to sit together and they talked amongst themselves deciding what to do. They had a large corner booth I suggested may work and she said no that would be a fire hazard with the 2 high chairs it wouldn't leave enough room. Then she took us to be seated at a table and a booth after we already said we came as a family and wanted to have dinner as a family. I asked if we could push 2 tables together and she told me it was a fire hazard that they could not do that and she walked away without hearing anything else I had to say. Me and my husband sat there for a minute with our family looked at the menu and decided to leave. The vibe we were getting from the people working there was negative and hateful. They acted mad that I was asking questions and not wanting to separate my family for our family dinner. I told the waitress we were leaving and asked to speak to a manager. She acted confused like she didn't know who the manager is and directed me to talk to the hostess who was not helpful and rude. I told her nicely that I would instead contact the corporate office and we left. After leaving there and reading all the negative reviews online we were happy we dodged a bullet and went to our regular favorite place Margaritas Mexican Restaurant on US 31. The atmosphere at our favorite place was so much more friendlier and inviting. My suggestion would be to not go here and head on over to Margarita's Mexican...
