I am not a big fan of the setup and pricing for batting cages at this place. There are only 3 batting cage lanes. Lane 1 is a rental only cage. I cant just show up wanting to hit and hit off that lane even when there is no one using or any reserved times so that is out of the question. Lane 2 is a standard batting cage that you see in all batting cages which is good. Problem is there is only one lane that is like that. Lane 3 is a batting cage with HitTraxx. Has no benefit to a 12u softball player who is just trying to get some swings in. Pricing wise Lane 2 is 1 credit for 15 balls vs Lane 3 is 4 credit for 15 balls. The difference in pricing is really bothersome. There are no rules or regulations for how many times someone can go up before having to share with the rest of the customers. The guy in lane 2 went 7 times in a row while my daughter and I waited 3 turns. This forced us to have to use lane 3 at 4 credits. Lost out on alot of hitting because we had no choice but to use HitTraxx cage. The membership pricing seems very reasonable but how can a kid with a membership who has school monday-friday utilize their 10 credits a day if there is only 1 standard lane available? This is my only take on the facility in terms of batting cages. I am not familiar with the other services enough to comment on them. Sadly would not be...
Read moreHorrible experience. First I signed up my sons for camp WAY in advance and paid the 3 weeks upfront (dumb on my part). I show up and the location is closed. I call and they said “woops we forgot to tell you it’s at a new location”.
I showed up there is one man and one teenager and my sons and one other child. This was “camp”. The place is a quarter of the size of their first place with NO AC. The equipment wasn’t set up and they expected to leave my five year old son and six year old son there alone with two grown men and one other child.
I tried to get a refund and they responded with a chat gpted answer saying no but they he could try another week when there was SIX kids. Perfect! I brought him back that week. Two out of the four days I picked them up they were ALONE in a room with weights and heavy duty exercise equipment. Let me repeat that- unsupervised!!! I went looking for the teen that was supposed to be watching them and he was alone playing on a machine in the big room (apart from where the kids were) while the small children were alone in the exercise room (barefoot for too for some reason )??? Needless to say I forfeit the other weeks I had paid for because it wasn’t worth my child getting hurt.
At today’s baseball game I heard other parents also sharing the same experience. Highly suggest not sending...
Read moreDo not make the mistake I made and send your kids here for summer camp. Especially, if you have young kids. The camps lack adult supervision, and their staff is not properly trained to care for kids. My son had an altercation at their camp, and their staff chose to withhold the incident from me until the end of the day, then proceeded to accuse me and my son of being racist. If an incident occurred that involved racism, wouldn't it make the most sense to contact the parents immediately? The camp takes no accountability for their shortcomings. I was extremely disappointed in their inability to run a safe and secure camp. The camp only had 8 kids. Can't imagine how bad or dangerous it would be if more kids attended. I spoke to the owner Davd about the incident, and he could care less. He lacked any answers or remorse for what occurred at his facility. He just blamed the kids and took no responsibility for the lack of adult...
