I came to this coffee shop yesterday for the first time as a local and I do wanna say I was very disappointed. They only had one person making coffees one person taking orders when there was about 50 people in the tiny little shop. People inside ended up fighting because there were so many people and it took them so long to get their coffee. One girl threw a coffee on another girl. Went up at the register, asking the person who was taking the orders if the coffee was bitter or sweet if I needed to add another pump of syrup, she said, who are you to know what good coffee taste like. Very disappointed as a local had high hopes maybe just a bad day but that bad day put a bad taste in my mouth. Thought Iād come on here and give my honest opinion. The coffee was okay very milked down. When I try to explain this to the owner of the coffee shop, she got very upset and said who has time to make up stuff like this and then blocked me on that social media app. Own is not good at taking feedback. How would the own know this because she wasnāt there yesterday just the young man making coffees and the young girl at the register taking orders. When someone is trying to give you feedback about your business the best thing to do is that is not blame that person who had a bad experience there and block them. I will no longer be recommending people to come to this coffee shop. If she deleted my review and if she blocked me, I would think what else is she deleting what other reviews are she deleting and what other people is she blocking. Owning your business, you have to take criticism and feedback. She only wants good reviews and good publicity and I know everybody does, but you cannot shoot down every single person that has an issue with your business otherwise your business is going to be in the hole because youāre not listening to the customers and at some point everybodyās gonna notice what all these reviews are saying and then be like oh itās just me no itās not just you the owner Sadie just delete all comments and blocks every single body that has a bad review about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI normally don't leave reviews and will always give people the benefit of the doubt, but I came in 3x this week (because the matcha is so good and the place is so cute) and each time I left I was bummed about how unkind the staff were.
My most recent visit, they accidentally messed up my order. (It happens! No worries) I ordered a matcha and they called out my name and it was a normal latte. I nicely said "oops I think this is supposed to be a matcha!" And the barista didn't even look at me when she responded, she just rudely repeated the order & my name. I then again said "I'm sorry, it's supposed to be a matcha" and she said "ok it said latte but I'll remake it." She didn't even look up at me and her tone was as if I was the last person in the world she wanted to be talking to.
I worked at a coffee shop for 2 years in Nashville where I dealt with tourists for years - I get it! But when someone spends money in your establishment, doesn't get what they ordered, and they kindly go up to ask for the right thing... don't be so RUDE!!
Itās such a bummer because the place is genuinely adorableāthe decor and vibe are greatābut at the end of the day, itās the service and staff that set the tone. If the staff is consistently rude, no amount of cute decor can make up for that. I donāt want to leave a place feeling small or less than just for being a customerāespecially when Iām being kind and respectful.
5 stars for drinks & shop decor 2...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have seen all of the great reviews on social media and was so excited to try this place but unfortunately it was a huge miss. The wait time was just inexcusable, however, Iām more than happy to wait for good, quality coffee and great customer service but neither met expectations. The lids supplied were too big for my cup which is no problem but when I showed the barista she had an attitude about it and provided no solution. The owner saw this interaction and also provided no solution-he was too busy making coffees for himself and left his staff when the line was long and they clearly needed help. The coffee was not good. For $7 in a tiny cup I simply expected top-tier customer service and was met with crappy coffee and bad customer service instead.
In response to your reply-I see that you have edited your response asking me to email you regarding the attitudes from your staff and this whole situation but thatās ok. Every negative review on here mentions the attitudes your staff has so Iād probably take that a bit more seriously. Also, your husband making his own coffee in front of paying customers and leaving before paying customers receiving theirs is just tacky-especially because every person who enters your shop is trying to support a small business. My claims were not false-I understand a solution canāt be done about the lids in the moment but maybe not having an attitude with the paying customer is the solution. Have a GREAT day...
