It was honestly a terrible experience. We called ahead and were told they had the non synthetic oil my engine requires and when we got there, they said they donāt have it nor do they carry it. I felt like we were scammed into buying high priced full synthetic. The new guy there that was a boxer for thirteen years before however was super nice and was very personable. I went here because the price for there non synthetic oil change plus my military discount is a very affordable option and take five usually does a phenomenal job and checks everything thoroughly. Iām the type of guy that has always changed my own oil plus my girlfriend/wifeās, but for the time and money it cost me to do this take five usually is much more efficient and even affordable. That being said to watch this location do such a shotty inspection and oil change after knowing I could have gone to another location or done it myself while getting screwed out of money just really didnāt sit right with me. The reason I didnāt is because I was on a road trip far from home and everything else had closed for the day. Which I will say even at 7:30 pm before close at 8 pm these guys were able to fit me in and others too. I do commend them on that. A lot of places would have looked at the clock and said we donāt have time today. I did call way before though and made sure theyād be able to fit me in otherwise I would have to go to somewhere else, so when I had done that plus asked if they carried the oil my Subaru takes and was told they do in both non synthetic, a blend, and full synthetic. When I found out otherwise and had no other option by that point thatās what aggravated me so much. When I called at 1:00 pm I had plenty of time to go anywhere but chose this place based on $, location, time, etc. Then to get there and be told otherwise and the cost to be so much higher it did definitely aggravate me. Not to mention the crappy inspection or smug attitude from mechanic Tyler. Normally speaking Iād always recommend take five because every time Iāve used yall before it was exceptional, but unfortunately this time had the CEO been present folks would have been at a minimum given...

I have always taken my cars to the dealership begrudgingly, of course, until the main earramty runs out. Due to years of possibly not having issues covered while still under warranty, if I would have taken it to anyone else. Ridiculous.
I know nothing about oil changes, services, and anything automotive in general. I called the call center to obtain further information. Ms. Taya was AWESOME!!! She somehow survived my super ignorant questions with such grace. She is extremely professional, kind, and personable. I know many say this, BUT she definitely deserves a raise. At the end of the comical conversation, she even offered me a $25 dollar off coupon.
Upon arrival, they were pretty busy. I didn't mind at all because it allowed me to catch up on certain things. A gentleman named, Tony, came out and asked what I needed done. He also somehow managed my questions as well with easy š¤¦āāļø He even brought the customers bottles of water while we waited. AGAIN, he needs a raise as well š
In summary, it is SO refreshing to go to a business and have the service they provided go through without a hitch. Unfortunately, it's rare these days 𤣠it was such a breath of fresh air. Take 5 has treated me great and especially the Gulf Port, MS location!! Everyone their was exceptional!! I recommend them completely. You will NOT be disappointed. I will not be frequenting Take 5 from here on out.
Thank you guys SO much!! I hope you all remain well and continue being the BEST. 100 stars, NO DOUBT! Peace, love and...
Read moreOK, I've missed my normal maintenance date because I didn't have a second driver to pick me up at my local maintenance garage and the mileage kept adding up. Well I'm thinking to myself.... here's how this usually goes. I was out running errands and I knew the lube oil and filter needed to be done so I went in to take 5 oiI. They were actually a little busier than I thought they were going to be. The first thing they offered me cold bottled water on a 95 plus degree day and you know I am sitting in my car with air conditioning it's great it's better than no air conditioning. Now, I'm not saying to take the bottled water and drive off. Take 5 Oil change is currently supporting a veteran's Family charity which is awesome. When you go in, ask them about matching the charity donation and see what response you get. If you do regular maintenance on certain things like tire pressure -- your oil, oil filter, your windshield wipers, your air filters, your engine (air) filter, your air conditioning system, your steering fluid, your brake fluid, your engine air filter; and your antifreeze radiator coolant... you will be surprised that there's not a large margin between having it done at take five oil and having to take the time to do it yourself when it's 115° outside in the shade. They also have sales and if you're really lazy like me you can go Sunday morning before or after going to church and you'll find out what kind of coupons and discounts they have and if I didn't mention it before they are running a charity promotion to help the families of deceased...
