Guntersville Drivers License Office — Local services in Guntersville

I am not from Marshall County but I live here and call it my home. I recently contacted the drivers license division because there has been a mistake made on my driver license. The lady that answered the phone was rude and plainly told me that she seriously doubts that they made a mistake. Can someone explain to me why my driver’s license has to be renewed less than a year since renewal?I renewed them in March and they expire this month. I have never lost my drivers license because I am OCD and I am constantly checking to make sure I have my license in my presence. I also keep my license with my medical insurance cards because I always use them together. Could someone direct me to the correct person whom I need to speak with? Drove all the Way to Guntersville only to read signs on the door stating y’all are closed due to Covid 19! You would think someone could do their job and have your voicemail message state that, instead of me and the several other people standing in the parking lot discussing how incompetent whoever runs the place is because...We’ve all been calling for the past several weeks to find out information! You can only reach a voice mail telling you to do to alea.gov to schedule an appointment...which doesn’t show any of our locations! ALL THE MESSAGE NEEDED TO SAY WAS... You’re closed due to Covid 19 and to go to the other offices!...

We got there at 7am,they dont open till 8am. We were like 10th in line and because of the rain they couldn't do the driver's test,which I understand but we also had other buisness there. We had to fill out a card and go back to the car also which I understand. What I didn't understand is when we ask about how long it would take she told us she had us down for after 1pm. I believe they need to either get more people in to work there to handle the volume or open another place up,because that is not very good that you have to stand in line hours before they open and you still either have to go back and still can't get what...
