Walmart Auto Care Center — Local services in Guthrie

Arrived at the auto center at 4:30 to get my battery tested and probably replaced. I should’ve know better when the only other customer there asked what I was there for and said “Good luck” when I answered him. After about an hour of waiting, they came back to tell me that my battery was indeed shot, and needed replaced. I told them what size battery it took, and which one I wanted, and the tech left for about 20 more minutes. I figured he was working on the replacement, until he came back and asked me what kind of battery I decided on. I told him that I had already said which battery I wanted, and I thought he was already putting it in the car. He then told me it would be another 15 minutes. It was about 30 minutes later that he returned my keys to me, and I went on my way.

Estimated service time on the website said 30-35 minutes. Actual service time was two hours.

All in all, the people are nice (hence the two stars), but incredibly inefficient. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you have plenty of time and already need to do some shopping while you wait for a simple...

After visiting the store bought tires online to be shipped to store so I could have them installed . They refused to ship to the store but my house instead . I loaded the tires in my truck and went to store first thing to have them installed . Had an oil change ahead of me that takes them 45 minutes they tell me . Then I’m told they had a truck coming in to off load when I would be about ready to get tires installed . They couldn’t tell me when how long before they could even start because the truck . Didn’t even suggest a time to come back .So I got tires in the truck and can’t just wait till god knows when . Part of my purchase included install and was going to get road hazard . Had to go somewhere else no road hazard and paid for the install . I guess you can buy there tires but as others warned me I’m warning you . Just go somewhere else they don’t have enough staff to do the most basic things or...

Usually have good things to say about the auto center but today they were terrible. Went in for an oil change and this man who can't speak above a whisper takes the details for the change. Okay, okay, I could deal with that. Struggled to hear him but I could deal. I told him SPECIFICALLY what had to be done to start my car (easy, put the key in and turn HARD) well they couldn't get it to start. They DID NOT call my cell and claim they called over the system though neither my guy or I heard them at all. I go out to my car, my window is all the way down and my seat is back. I BARELY turn the key and the car starts but of course they wasted time and didn't call me so I can't get the oil change because it's too damn late. Unless Jessica is in, I will NEVER use this auto center again the service was that poor. I'd leave less stars if possible....
