Finding River's Edge Home Center was somewhat of a godsend for me and my kitchen renovation project. By the time a colleague recommended them, I had already fired several contractors who did not want to a) stay within my budget, b) do anything outside of the original foot print of the small kitchen, and c) present me with options (visual options) on what I could do with my budget. River's Edge was the first contractor that did all of these things. Nikki, the designer, helped me visualize beyond the original design and she helped me pick awesome cabinets, counters, and backsplash all within my budget - in fact, UNDER budget. Because I was under budget, I was able to redo my floors too! Lou Sr. and Louie Jr. are experts - they made sure the work was done to perfection without cutting corners. In addition, everyone - at the store or on the construction site - was kind, respectful, and diligent in keeping me updated on progress and ensuring I was making the decisions in my space.

It helps that there is a store front for clients to frequent. Not only does it help that River's Edge provides a designer for advice, visuals, and more; the store front allows clients to literally pick out what they want all in one place. While other contractors are sending clients near and far to work with whoever, River's Edge has everything all in one place with the trusted experts to help clients make sound and amazing decisions on their home projects.

We worked with River's Edge for a kitchen renovation and we were extremely happy with the final results! Nikki was fantastic to work with in the design stage, and throughout the project. She quickly got to know what we were looking for, made a lot of great suggestions and worked with us to choose cabinets that fit our tastes and budget, and give us ideas for some features that we hadn't thought about, but now love. Lou, Louie and Gianna were all awesome to work with as well - friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Lou is also a master carpenter/jack-of-all-trades - he has forgotten more about kitchens than many kitchen pros will ever know.

Were there problems that came up during the process? Of course! But I think that anyone going into a renovation who thinks everything will go perfectly smooth is kidding themselves. There are always going to be unexpected bumps in the road - but you want to choose a company and people you trust to make things right. The team at River's Edge absolutely did that.
