Well, I just re-found Hagerstown's finest!!! WEYIRA! A tasting gallery for more than just the little lapper we call tongue~ Nestled between the Barber Shop and the Rooster Moon stands not so little Weyira~ With elegance and delight for All the senses. Stepping into Weyira is a bit like time traveling; from past to present to future, from old, to new, to timeless. A visit to Weyira is a peaceful, pure, and magical experience! The eyes are instantly nurtured by the tangerine walls and lime coloured floor and the quiet show begins. Soft music danses across the room and awakens our beautiful sense of hearing. Delicate aromas gently cascade through the air with a quietness unfamiliar to most. But the nose knows...something wonderful is about to happen! The owner, as subtle and lovely as the atmosphere, greets you with the warmth and gentleness of a flower's petal. She asks you what your favorite fruit is and offers you a sip of fruit infused olive oil. Then swirls a bit of infused balsamic vinegar into the oil and then...voila...your tongue is engaged! She is the True Artist's promoter. Who knew the olive & the grape could so beautifully share the same palate (palette) and create a painting worthy of a gallery for all the senses! (Because I'm quite certain that after creating a meal with any of the many delicious oils, vinegars, honeys, and/or herbal salts, one is sure to receive at the very least a most luscious kiss from their beloved!) 😉 Weyira Olive Oil & Vinegar Tasting Gallery is a living canvas of the masterpiece of life's beauty and gifts! This is a lady with taste and grace my friends, presenting us with the fineness and finest of life's treasures. Let's keep her in Hagerstown... She's ...

This would be the perfect gift for someone who likes to cook or experiment in the kitchen, someone who is from one of the regions these items are sourced from, or a special occasion. Personally, I don’t see it becoming a staple in my house as I don’t cook very much, it is relatively expensive, and I am native to the US. However, I will continue to shop here for gifts and...
Read moreWe received a "standard" (not infused) olive oil and dark balsamic vinegar from this shop as a gift a couple of years ago; they were great quality, so we were excited to check it out while visiting the area. We had a very fun experience trying several different combinations of oil and vinegar, a few of which we purchased. We were also given recommendations for how to use the different flavors. Highly recommend and will...
