The staff are always friendly, they have special ordered food from Stella and Chewy for me, have a LOT of varieties of Fussie Cat, (which is perfect for my very particular cat), and carry multiple varieties of the Himalayan churro chew that my dog loves. (And chicken hearts sourced from a local butcher!)

In addition, I've never felt belittled with my choices. The staff will offer helpful input, but were also respectful when I explained why I made the decision to feed my pets what I do. I have been shamed in other shops for not feeding grain-free, but not here. (My cat can't have peas and is a food thief, so I have to avoid peas in the dog food as well)

The first few times I went there with my dog I thought the staff just really loved her because she was special. (I have a very friendly Shiba Inu) Now that I've seen other dogs in the store, it's obvious that the staff are all there because they REALLY love dogs, and they treat every dog that comes in as if it was the best dog in the world!

My only complaint is a small one. I usually go to Hales Corners location, but if I have to run to Target, I'll pop in the Franklin location and because they are set up completely different, I always have to ask where things are. (A very minor issue, because the staff are really nice...

Love love love this store. Super knowledgeable owners. Great rewards program and bulk discounts. They have an excellent selection of toys and foods, but remember you don't need a hundred choices of foods and toys to have a good selection. I recommend this store to everyone I can. If you are someone who does not like to bog yourself down with all the mumbo jumbo, you can be assured that they do all the hard thinking for you. If you are someone who is well informed they're also knowledgeable to nerd out with you. I'm definitely the latter, and I'm always delighted to waste time there. They are not "cheap", (p.s. they do have very affordable healthy options) but when you have a family-owned business, well thought out inventory, knowledgeable staff, and premium products you are not going to see a big box store criminally low prices... But you are absolutely not getting a big box store experience. So... Really don't even compare the two in the first place lol. Just go and see for yourself. They have something great...

When I went in, it appeared that there was only one person working. It was my first time there and the person who was working was literally handling the either customer's needs the whole time. Which, I get because she was the only one there. I had to look for the treats I wanted by myself which didn't take long because it's a really small shop, and I ended up leaving...
