Can't believe I hadn't set foot in this shop before! According to the cheerful owner, it has been on Main Street for 21 years! She mysteriously said that I may want to check out their back room because I would find it "interesting and useful."

My daughter and I spent most of the time in that most useful back room.

This is a little kid's paradise! Anything and everything tchotchke-ish could be found here. Miniature fisherman earrings. Shrunken skulls. Teeny tiny little blank books (appropriate for any mouse who wishes to do journaling). Small glass turtles, frogs, gummy bears, ladybugs, etc. (For those of you who are therapists - this is the place to stock up for your sandtrays.)

Owner was a little rude got a bad vibe from her she told me that polished and unpolished crystals are the same difference cause “ its all in your head” . I feel like an owner of a crystal shop should know more about crystals and there properties. If she did she would know there is a difference and you should probably only get polished for decor cause it doesn’t own the same amount of properties cause its been modified and I don’t even know too much about crystals yet i know more than her. Also it wouldn’t hve been a big deal if they had both unpolished and polished of each but sadly didn’t only had for example polished of tigers eye therefor I didn’t get a main part of what i went there for . The new worker there a young girl , was way nicer but i guess she was new she didn’t even know which one was amethyst, which if she is...

We will go back to Half Moon Bay just to visit this store. We loved the throw back toys. The best part about this store was the unique finds. They have toys, gifts that we hadn't seen before. They also put together kits for things like message in a bottle, terrariums, etc. We can't wait to take our daughter back when the weather is better to visit their outdoor activity center. The created multiple tables with different activities (similar to the kits in the store, only more items to choose from). It is set up like a pirate adventure. You pay in 'dablooms'. There is also a large pirate ship with a mermaid on the front. Our daughter is going to have a blast! So...
