I am a regular customer if this Winn-Dixie. I spend a lot of my hard earned money here at least 2 to 3 times a month. Lately I've noticed they only have 1 person at the register during evenings. The other night (Thursday) i went shopping at around 8 pm. Once I had all my groceries (full cart) i headed to a register. I saw no one (there usually only 1 young Spanish woman working a register at these hours). I saw a heavy set tanned skin woman & asked her if there was anyone at any of the registers. She rudely told me no & pointed to the self checkout kiosks. The lines were ridiculously long. Once it was my turn to "self checkout" it took me almost 25 to 30 minutes to do so. Reason being the self checkouts weren't designed to checkout with full cart. There is literally not enough room to do this. So after i finally finished, i went to the customer service area & asked to speak to the manager. He was very polite. I asked why there were no persons at the registers. He said he'd already sent some people home. It was approximately 9:20 pm at this time. I showed him my full cart & said it was almost impossible to self checkout with this amount of items, not to count the self checkout lines were ridiculously long. There were workers just standing around somee places the whole time. He apologized. This is totally unacceptable. I will no longer shop here. I will go to the Winn Dixie near the beach. I just don't know what is going on with all the Winn Dixie stores I've been to here in Miami area they never have or seem to carry their own store brand products that I'm use to buying when I lived in Central FL, Deltona, Debary Area I could always find the Winn Dixie brand Genoa Salami & Asiago Cheese from the Deli section. I've been to four Winn Dixie's repeatedly since moving to Miami in September but they never have it??? Also use to be able to find the SE Grocers Brand of Sharp Cheese slices or Seriously Sharp White Cheddar Sticks in the refrigerator section, if I couldn't get the others but none of that either???
My family & I really don't like any others so I hope if they removed these items from the store shelves they would put them back. I don't understand why they would have done such a thing because these items were so high in demand they always ran out very quickly!😳🙄
I will continue to try to get the items so please put them back in your inventory for future because if I don't start to see the return of the items I will begin to shop elsewhere that is cheaper because Winn Dixie is on the more expensive side when it comes to groceries but it was worth it to me to find & get what my family wanted or wants if not I'm...
Read moreDisgracefully shameful. After Items were ringing up wrong price, one item around $2 off, I asked the cashier Thalia to charge the right prices. She said she couldn't do refunds or price changes. The manager said you had to wait on the customer service line for a price change or a refund. 8 people were on line in front of me with their receipts out asking for prices on the shelf or refunds. Around 25 minutes passed and the customer service line barely moved. Finally I went into the office to ask the manager Stephanie(?) to come and help the long line of ripped off customers. Eventually, the long angry line slowly started moving. If this Hallandale Winn Dixie did not intend to upcharge customers, why would they park you in customer service so long that customers debate whether or not to just walk out knowing they were over charged? Publix if an item rings up wrong, you get it for free. Walmart, customer service price checks and cashier's change prices quickly.
