Just wanted to alert those potential pavilion renters that we were there at the park this weekend Jan. 11, 2020 and had to deal with a challenging attendant who worked there. It was stressful enough to set up for a party and having to deal every 5 minutes with the attendant that kept walking around the pavilion and policing the activities. She was constantly threatening a charge for coming early, a charge for bringing decorations, etc. At one time the charges were so much that I just told her do what you have to do because we were getting delayed by her policing and having to rethink our plans to adjust to her wishes. The party went on needless to say but with problems. The electrical outlets were not working and the music was not able to play. At the end the attendant came by policing again that the party had to end and she was going to charge for not ending on time. And she was going to charge for trash that could not fit in their trash containers. At the end of the day the idea the part attendant had was to stay with our complete deposit. You know you spend so much money to make a party happen and then you have to deal with a facility that wants to bring it all to a halt if possible. This park is not a good fit for parties in the pavilions. You will lose your deposit because they will pick on everything that goes on in the party to make sure you don't get your deposit back. Too bad for Ingalls Park customer service...

It's playground is fun and the walk path was great to wind down especially with a cool Slurpee from 7-11 across the street😀. You can rent the hall that is used for community events or the shelter for party's. Enjoy the shade of the trees and the fish pond. Which was a run to spot for the kids to point out all the different types of fish and spot the turtles as they...
