Phone has a newly damaged screen after repairs were done on my USB-C port and battery. I thought it could have been related to an electrical issue or an accident during repairs, but the service man confidently said that it was caused by water damage (despite the screen being fine before repairs, I live 3 blocks away, and it was a sunny day). I am forced to conclude that there was water damage done to my phone during the repairs, and that the shop refuses to take responsibility. Warranty was not able to cover screen damage to my phone that they themselves caused.
They then lied in a response to this review saying my phone was completely non-fuctional when received, when I intentionally left it with about ~20% power before giving it to them. But I won't be unfair like they claim I am, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they waited too long to check and the remaining battery died with no way to charge. He has a point, so upon further consideration, I will give them another star for doing the bare minimum, the job I paid almost $150 and waited almost a week for, despite now requiring additional repairs (which they said would be about another $100).
I still wish them the best. It's just a review, and it's just a phone. But I can't give them a good review for a shoddy job and how they covered themselves up for it afterwards. This was obviously an accident, and accidents happen. I'm sure they're...
Read moreThis place does FAST repairs while you wait. If the job is doable, they'll do it. The staff is very friendly, and they make pleasant conversation while they do the job. This place also did the job for the lowest price in the area. It'll vary by the phone and such, but in my case, they charge $65 for the replacement of a screen on an iPhone SE, which generally costs $80-$100, and runs $130 from Apple.
The service was tremendous. As is the nature of these things, every now and again you'll run into a problematic repair, and unfortunately I drew the proverbial short straw. Thankfully, every complication that I ran into was taken care of promptly and at no further charge.
The only caveat about this place is that they use standard aftermarket parts, which aren't as good as OEM (Apple) parts. There's a slight "screen door" look and the colors are just the slightest bit off/inconsistent. However, that is the expected cost of going to a place like this as opposed to a Genius Bar, and again, it's something like 35% less than standard rate for that kind of job. Most people won't notice a difference and most of the rest won't care. If you're that meticulous, you have to splurge on the Genius Bar. But for everyone else, this is the...
Read moreRonnie provided an exceptional experience from start to finish. He took the time to thoroughly educate me about the repair process, explaining the different types of screens and their benefits. His expertise and efficiency were impressive, as I was able to watch him repair my device quickly and skillfully. Beyond his technical skills, Ronnie's customer service truly stood out. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about ensuring I had a positive experience—not just making a paycheck. He also went above and beyond by teaching me helpful tips about my iPhone settings, updates, and general device care.Another highlight is their 30-day repair guarantee for issues unrelated to user damage, such as internal screen malfunctions. This level of care and transparency is rare, as many places don’t offer such customer-focused policies. The cost was very affordable compared to any other places in the area, and the quality of service was unmatched. If you're looking for excellent repairs, fair pricing, and top-tier customer service, I highly recommend Ronnie and his team. This is by far the best repair experience I’ve had! Thank you so much! I’m very appreciative for...
