Hamden Plaza — Local services in Hamden

Hamden Plaza is okay, but there should definitely be more suitable, up-to-date options for shopping...Having the same stores as other areas like GameStop, Marshall's, DSW is counterproductive and boring.

The Gap is so 1999, DSW is wack and was by far so much better when they were located in North Haven - a larger store with better options and nicer, competent staff members, Marshall's is more of a miss than a hit, the buyers for this company are obviously not up to date when it comes to fashion, etc. because the decor, attire, accessories, etc. are so outdated and the prices are ridiculous, if I wanted to spend hundreds of dollars I would go to a department store, Marshall's including TJ Maxx and HomeGoods have increased their prices and that was prior to inflation. GameStop is substandard and expensive, and the Sketchers store should be eliminated who wants those tacky shoes. AGAIN this plaza needs an...

Insane traffic inside the parking lot and road to parking lot. Carts everywhere blocking 25% of spots and there always multiple ppl asking for many like straight up asking you face 2 face of holding a sign asking at many of the entrances n I intersections I have no issue with it but ever time I got I'm asked 2 to 3 times n I makes me feel bad n a lil uncomfortable cause I rarely have only change to offer cuz I'm running on fumes already but I still feel bad for them but if I give away all my mom il be out there with them. Other then those issue. There is a pretty good selection of stores from video game to walmart/green food multiple grocery stores and many other but the parking lot n cart issues I've had about 40 percent of the times I've been there so if u do t mind traffic n trouble with parking or your just way more patient then you'll probably enjoy and bit...
