My experience has been nothing short of a disaster, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal to warn potential customers.
We purchased the Millennium sectional on August 21, 2024, opting for four pieces instead of the full five, fearing it might overwhelm our space. At the time of purchase, we were assured that if we needed an additional piece, it would cost $300. We were promised the opportunity to make that decision after the sectional was delivered.
We specified that we didn’t need the sectional until mid to late September, and were instructed by the sales staff to call them 3 to 5 days before we were ready to pick it up. Instead, Amor Furniture decided to deliver the sectional to the store within a week of our order, which was completely unnecessary and inconvenient, as we were still moving. When we called to have the sectional returned to the warehouse, they complied, but soon after, we were met with excuse after excuse as to why it couldn’t be brought to the store within the time they specefied.
As we were and expecting guests and now down to the wire, Amor finally decided to "courteously" deliver the sectional—at the exact time our guests arrived! The delivery personnel simply dropped it off and left, with no setup whatsoever.
When we finally decided to purchase the fifth piece, we were stunned to learn that the price had jumped from $300 to $550. We asked to speak with the salesman who originally sold us the sectional only to be told he no longer worked there. Amor's reasoning for the price increase—that it’s more expensive to “break up a couch” than to sell a whole one—is absurd. We already purchased 4/5ths of the sectional; the fifth piece is likely still sitting in their warehouse!
In a final attempt to resolve this, my husband visited the store to explain the situation and escalate it to management. In a shocking twist, the original salesman "who no longer worked there" was present in the store. So to add insult to injury, Amor will give inaccurate prices and lie directly to customers. The chose to stick to their inflated price, showing a complete disregard for customer service and honesty.
In summary, my experience with Amor Furniture has been infuriating and disappointing. Their customer service is appalling, their pricing practices are unethical, and their lack of communication is unacceptable. Save yourself the...
Read morePlease do not support this store. They do not value their customers. In july of this year i bought several pieces of furniture totaling $5200, a table that was $1500 and 6 chairs for $349 each which i bought 6. I also bought a coffee table for $1200. They deliver my furniture and realized the glass top for my table was very dirty and cloudy. I contacted the store and they decided to send another glass which not only was it cloudy but has lines of cloudiness all over the table. They tried to deliver a third one and it was the same dirty lined one that i originally had. At this time i was furious. I contacted the store and was told that the glasses came from their wear house and they would contact me. No one did. I went to the store after no one wanted to hear my complaint and was told by j one of the store associate that the glass was fine. He was very rude and threaten to call the police. I made him aware i will be placing a negative review and he stated he did not care. One of the manager reached out after i posted a review and asked me to take it down and he will work to resolved my case and after i took down the review i did not hear from him again. Please read your fine print because that where all the hidden facts are found. Larger companies will not tread you with such disrespect after spending all that money. All that glitters does not worth it. I am stuck with a dirty glass table in my formal dining room. I am telling my experience that other people can be alerted at the prospect of purchasing from...
Read moreBe aware he may give you floor sample without your consent. We ordered a sectional and it came wrapped instead of box and also missed sectional connectors. This is happens when someone takes things apart and forgets to put the items in. And same reason he was insisting me to pay the due earlier than delivery. I trusted them. To my surprise the furniture was delivered in wraps and was missing pieces. I guess that is why he wanted to collect money before delivery. If he gave me floor sample then it was without my consent and he told he has stocks in cargo. I went to get the sectional connectors and the display sectional was not there anymore. Beware to put full payment down before taking delivery. I purchased 4k worth of furniture from NJ and they collected money at delivery while this brother kept making excuses to collect money in full before delivery. This shows his true intentions. This is my experience with Amor furniture and but go ahead and judge urself. I would say be...
